So here's my take on the MPR Drug and Medical Guide - I've tried a bunch of medical apps and this one's pretty darn good. The drug database is super comprehensive and the calculators are really handy. Earning free CME credits in the app is a nice bonus too. And the redesign took some getting used to, but once you figure it out it's easy to navigate. The only real downside is that some of the features can be a little overwhelming if you're not a healthcare pro. But overall, it's a solid all-in-one reference that I'd recommend to anyone in the medical field.

Description

Been using the MPR Drug and Medical Guide app for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one reference for healthcare professionals that has info on tons of drugs, medical calculators, and even free CME courses. Pretty solid app if you’re a doctor, nurse, or anyone who needs quick access to drug data and medical tools.

Here’s what you can do – there’s a big drug database where you can look up info on brand name and generic meds. It’s got calculators for things like BMI, GFR, and all sorts of other medical calculations. And the myCME section lets you earn free continuing education credits right in the app, which is pretty cool. Took me a while to figure out all the features but they’re all useful once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you work in healthcare, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the redesign is a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job of being an all-in-one medical reference. Worth checking out for sure.

Used it for years.....Now they want to milk it. Ads are filling the app....& greed ruined it. I uninstalled it.

This is a paid app that has completely stopped working for several days in a row. Was fine before.

As a student this app has been incredibly helpful for learning new meds and reminding me of meds on the fly.
