I like that you can choose which muscles to target. I think when the free features of the app you can only create a workout and then you can't even use the workout you created. Other than the targeting muscle feature, it's like every other app. I can't say I like anything about the app when it's so limited.

Working with this app but thinking I will not renew. I have limited time to be away from my wife because she is handicapped. The muscle booster is advertised as having the ability of the user to do many chair exercises, which is why I purchased the one month trial. Come to find out that if you pick chair as your only exercise tool, you have limited (or none) exercises to choose from in a workout. This is not the way the app is advertised. That alone is why I have the app two stars.

I started the Muscle Booster work out plan to be more fit as I get older. I've been at it for 3 weeks now and I feel good. The warm-ups before workout and the cool down period after are great. What I like is that you can add challenges to your basic plan and if you don't like something in the routine whether it be too easy, hard or boring....you can change it. I would definitely recommend this app'

Many issues with this app. First, they lied and told me my program was $15 dollars a month then charged me $39 for the second month. You can't skip a workout...you have to finish the current one before it will load the next day. The program locks up too much and you can not go back to redo the exercise you missed. If you close out of the workout before you are finished, you have to start all over again. There are no bicep exercises in any of the workouts even in the full body workouts.

So far I'm having a pretty good time with it! User friendly, intuitive design. It's mostly very good. I like that you can note poor joints and such, that's a great feature that I really appreciate. My one big complaint is in the meal plan settings: there's no way to denote allergies or dietary restrictions. For instance, I'm severely allergic to avocados. Unfortunately, about 7/10 recipes in my plan include avocado. It would be really nice to have a way to avoid certain foods or food categories.

I have had problems with the app. It freezes when opening the app. It won't send me an email code to login. It is very frustrating just trying to even get into my account to do a workout. Once in the app there is no tutorial on how to navigate it (I did get into the app 1 time). update 5/24/25: Their customer service is very good. They were able to help me figure out my issue with the login code, but I still opted for the refund which they granted. Changed my review from a 1 star to 3 star.

I like the exercise portion and the options, well worth the program cost. The food plan option I find completely useless. Complicated multi-ingredient receipts at every meal. Your shopping list would be so expensive! Food preping would take hours! And they don't give you a weekly shopping list. I mean, the receipts sound good, but who is going to make Chedder and bacon stuffed peppers for breakfast?

Me, mid 60's, male. Needed to do resistance training and lose some weight. It has several daily challenges, I use the morning routine, 10 30sec bodyweight excersises. The resistance training at the gym is 3 times a week. It suggests exercises for you but there are plenty of options if a machine isn't available or you want a different excercise. For each excercise there are good instructions on how to perform it with a graphical representation whilst you do it. It's good value, I recommend it.

For what it does for quick and easy workout for your age, I recommend this. I'm lazy and I want something quick. This app fits me perfectly. It even let you rate each workout. If you want something that really works you out longer than this app is not for you. I recommend adding yoga to your routine from YouTube if you use this app. Only complaint, it need to be able to sync and gather data from your Fitbit. it does not do it.

it's actually a really fun app with visuals and a timer for each exercise, calorie burn count, you can choose if a specific workout was good bad or caused you any pain. when i wanted to cancel, the support team really helped me out, i didn't want to renew and it was too late, but since i caught it soon enough, they issued me a refund. i recommend the app for home workout folks, and i will be returning to paid subscription soon.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP This app used to be great before they pay-walled it. And it's not even the pay wall that makes it terrible now. The workouts used to seem tailored by a professional, like a real-life CrossFit instructor set them up. Now it's just a mismatch of AI-generated workouts. IE, you want to target the chest? Well here's 8 chest exercises, 7 of them target the same muscles and there's no break up in between. this app is more likely to hurt you than help

Pretty decent app 3.5 stars. Needs to be able to put in the weight we are lifting next to each exercise. So we can keep track week over week. Also there is no way to go back and record a workout you did but didn't track that day. Also needs a monthly view showing all the workouts you did not just weekly. If it was a free app I'd give 5 stars but if I'm paying I expect a few more basic features *edit* they have updated some of the features I mentioned in the review to make the app better

I generally like this app as it gives guidance and variety. It has several "quirks" that irk. It will recommend a weight that does not regularly exist on dumbbells. For instance it recommends 7#. 5, 8,10 are common. It will recommend 17#, when only 15 and 20 are available. Sometimes the app instructions will say to use 45#, but when you do the exercise, it lists 5#. Otherwise pretty good.

BEWARE WHEN YOU SUBSCRIBE! When you subscribe on the Play Store, the app also keeps your subscription saved in their system. So you have to subscribe on the play store AND their app! BUYER BEWARE! I canceled my subscription a while back because I found an app that's $45/year instead of $22/month, and just woke up to a $67 charge from this place I'm paying ~$200/year LESS for the other app. Do your research on your Home Workouts and what apps there are out there.

This is a very basic app. There is no where on the app to track the weight that you are using or your body composition. It determines your BMI by height and weight alone, which is inaccurate if you already have muscle mass. For $80 a year, it doesn't give you enough. Customer service is a joke. I reached out a potential refund and heard nothing. Don't try this app.

Pros: The basic workout sets are quite good and flexible to meet your needs. The exercise graphic and tips are helpful. The schedule is motivational. Cons: Pricing The meal plan option is not helpful. The step tracker does not work. The FAQ has been saying the team is "currently" working on integrating the Samsung watch for at least 6 months. (I don't think they are) Overall: This is good for workout accountability if you can afford it. Just don't expect anything from the extras they promise.

Hello! I've been using this app for over a year! I've lost over 50 lbs. I feel great and making progress every day! I just wanted to say that this is a great app! And the updates have been making the app better every time. Just wanted to say, it will be great if we can add extra rounds during our workout sessions, and also add extra time for workouts during customizing your your workout. Like for example you just want forearms & abs, so it just let's you do 30 mins. Otherwise, it has been GREAT!

Some of the workouts do not provide enough time to get into position. Some of the new workouts require you to attempt to pause screen to study physical configuration. The screen often doesn't pause until multiple attempts are made. After initially losing a few pounds, along with walking an average of six miles a day, during this wasted time, I have now rebounded to my original weight. Thanks for nothing. Don't appreciate taking my money and auto debuting me an additional $66.

I enjoy using this app. I find that it encourages me to exercise / workout every day or at least on schedule. I recently had a medical issue that prevented me from exercising for 4 weeks and the app let me pause my subscription for a month, extending the active period of my quarterly subscription. I thought this was very fair. I recommend the app, especially for those wanting to do body weight and other "at home" exercises / workouts.

great app, the only thing I wished they had was the ability to say how sore your muscles are. I've had it where it will say a certain part of my body is at 100%, but it really is only at like 70%. I like that they show you what worked in the workout, but I wish that in the plan creating section, it would allow you to add that information. Besides that, it's an awesome app. It's really good for all lev3ls of working out!
