Reviews for Mushroom Identification

← Back to Mushroom Identification

App has too narrow of categories to even choose f mo.rom. Boomo.lI

Infested with adds. Oh, and it does not work either.

makes you go through a lot of pages before advising of price

I have cancelled the free trail but still took my money... would like to get them back or will message the bank about it ^^^

Not usable, correction of detection is insanely low and level of commercial insanely high. Avoid.

Frustrating and Misleading This app is riddled with ads and freezes constantly, even after granting invasive audio permissions. The mushroom identification feature leans heavily on labeling everything as inedible or poisonous, making it nearly useless for practical guidance. The overwhelming ads and lack of reliable information make it feel like a cash grab rather than a helpful tool. Avoid this app unless major improvements are made to its functionality and content.

I like the app,but it's data base seems very limited.

Adds, adds and more adds. And on top of that it got 90% of the mushrooms wrong.

Finally moved to ClassTag with all of classes and PTA. It makes such a difference to have one place to go for all information.

works great, need to watch a video each time, but worth it

Junk scam app. It's another ad server. You can't upload photos of your mushrooms, but you can watch unstoppable ads.

no trial thanks. also lists magics as poisonous, cant look up say for instance Psilocybe mexicana. basically useless. oh yeah and the ads are outrageous at a per click. every click is a 10 second ad.

Not only does the app fail to identify some of the most common mushrooms, it also saves the photos of mushrooms on the device for some reason. if you don't cancel your trial, you'd be charged 14.99 WEEKLY. for a barely working mushroom identification app :D :D

Great thoughtful app with everything in one place. I use messages and weekly newsletters all the time and have seen a great response from parents. Recently set up parent conferences virtually and had all parents sign up within a few hours.

requires to accept like 100 tracking cookies and data collection services. During recognition it tries to show web page about the mushroom that doesn't even work (guess because I rejected all the cookies and tracker...) BS app that just want to collect all your info. Paid for version is sh"t expensive...

Deleted after 5 minutes of use. In free trial user is literally bombarded by commercials (mostly Temu) every time he's trying to do something. It also sucks in identifying mushrooms. I took 3 pictures of the same mushroom on the same background and got 3 different results.

Little bug but...This is the one that really works! Tried 3 other identifiers but they produced no usable results. So far though, a little bug ( that could be my phone's fault). A photo I uploaded via Samsung Gallery then disappeared from the original gallery. It's still in this app and also findable via the phone's Images route. That image displayed in this ap was laterally distorted, though others were not.

Appears to be a good app, though difficult to gauge with the insane amounts of ads in the free version. You can look at 2 details (add a picture, back out, and re click on the details, and then the third time you're shown another ad) . I am fully understanding of ad revenue and selling consumer information of free versions is how apps are able to stay running, but this level makes the app near inoperable unless you pay for the subscription. Don't waste your time and find another mushroom app

the app always worked pretty well but the last update removed all the mushrooms i had found this far which i'm a bit mad about.

Installed this to identify a single mushroom and had to get through a ton of popup ads. In the end the app had no idea what mushroom i had despite several trys.
