After coming here from Muzio player, I am very suprised with how good this app is so far. The fact that I can change the cover for an album and it automatically applies it to songs is perfect. I do wish that there was an option to remove the rounded edges for the albums and songs, I'm not a big fan of the look. I also would like the option to put photos for artists. I like that the ads are less invasive and that it has a lot of built in themes, keep up the good work.
Reviews for Music Player & MP3 Player
← Back to Music Player & MP3 PlayerI love this app! I tend to get an ad now and then and it's always skippable or short. Another thing I love is how everything is super organized! There's only one problem I really have, you can't change the order of songs in an album. I have to download all of the songs in a specific order. This is a problem because sometimes, one file will download faster than another, but it's fine, because of the Playlist tab!
The last few years I've been using this, it's been working extremely well with the audios I download. But it started glitching and whenever I downloaded it from the same app Ive been using, it stopped working. The audios stop going through on the app, so I had to delete and redownload it but it still didn't work, please fix this. EDIT: the app works fine now, though it tends to close when I use it as background music🤧
App kind of feels like it's more optimized for users with phones without a "swipe up" feature to exit/close the music player. Any time I try to exit, it's either, opening the play back up or tapping on the ad at the bottom and it taking me to some website. Its annoying in that part, but the apps good for having offline music to listen to if you have some songs downloaded.
Not the flashiest but, it works for my needs. It allows me to shuffle songs that I have downloaded onto my phone & play them without any ads interrupting the music. There are ads that will pop up as you navigate the UI as well as an ad banner at the bottom of the screen but, that doesn't bother me as I am more than happy that it will stream my download music with no ad interruptions.
As simple && easy to use this app is, it is extremely irritating that the AD bar is located fully across the bottom of the screen. This wouldn't be an issue if the app didn't force full-screen && allowed my home screen buttons to function without having to attempt to swipe up (in order to display them for half a second) && instead clicking that stupid AD bar EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They could simply place the AD bar across the top, underneath the notifications bar, but of course they choose not to.
Easy listening! I found an old ipod shuffle that had some rare myspace tunes that had independent artists, bands, etc. on it and wanted to transfer the songs. Itunes sucks and just wouldn't let me transfer anything. So I did all the conversions to mp3s and just emailed the songs. The app easily picked up the downloads and wah-lah, the tunes are playing!
I installed and bought this thinking it would be a good replacement for my old player and I was happy until I decided to make a playlist. Why would you prevent a song being added twice to a playlist. This makes me so mad that I would give a 0 star review if I could. I think what bothers me the most is that it actually tells you the song is added when it is not. Whoever decided to add this weird feature without giving the option to turn it on or off, thanks for nothing!!!
Works well, but the ads have increased and had to pause for like 20 or 30 secs before you can access. I can live with the ads, as long as I can clear it out after 5 seconds, the x is hidden in the upper right corner, press the arrow, then the x appears and able to clear. I used this after Google music app dropped and overall, have been happy with this app.
It is better than 85 to 90% of the music apps since my new phone didn't have a default music player and I had to download one. After trying a half of dozen this is the closest one to providing me what I want. It still needs to let you combine folders and do better editing and filing but still way better than the others and would currently suffice.
The only thing that could make it better would be if they had the ability to change the time indicator on the playhead. It would be nice to be able to swap / cycle through different options - like showing the remaining time, rather than the current time progress, and the total length of the media. This doesn't matter for songs, but for podcasts, or other long form content, it would be nice
Downloaded this to replace Muzio now that that app is completely useless. Sucks that this doesn't work with Android Auto, but it's good for throwing on a playlist or artist shuffle. Organization is a little weird, but I like that it puts your artists with the most songs at the top. Easy tag editor. Room for improvement, but it's the best player I can find at the moment.
I never give reviews on apps much, but I got tired of paying for a music app that makes you download music but you don't own it yourself like Spotify or Pandora. So, I decided to download MP3 music on the SD card. I needed a Media player, so I gave this one a try and I love it. love the equalizer and the fact it gives you your lyrics to your songs. I love the new backup feature. If you need a good a great media player with awesome features and simple settings I recommend this app.
Almost all ads are unobtrusive, with only a small banner and minor pop-up now and then that blocks the screen when you start the app. Music playing is uninterrupted and highly customizable for different types of sound, which was SO COOL to discover, and the premium price for a lifetime purchase is less than ten bucks. 100% worth it, one of the best music apps I know. If you're looking for music files, check Bandcamp or other sites like it. This app rocks, I've been looking for one like it.
Been using for 5 years now, plays in the background perfectly. Recently saw a new feature that let's you back up Playlists if you ever lose your data. Loving it. I would suggest this for anyone who wants to save money by deleting Spotify. You just have to download songs onto your phone, the app doesn't let you browse songs by itself, you have to download them onto your phone. Great app, never spent a penny on Spotify because these guys are great.
So I have this weird issue with the app... Somehow, once or twice a week, the audio appears to drop in volume by about 50%, very noticeable thru Bluetooth connection with my car, and the problem persists until I reset my phone. This has been going on forever. The app then works perfectly for a few days until the audio issue pops up again. It gets very annoying to have to randomly reset my phone just to get a music app to work.
just got it and it's great so far! i do wish it didn't have gen ai stuff for the suggestions, and i really hope for a feature soon where we can delete (or at least hide/customize) the categories and playlist sections. would also love a "pin playlist" feature. Sound is clear and interface is great! i also like that i can add my own album covers and rearrange the song order. ads are there but not terrible, and $7 to take them out completely isn't bad at all.
This is what a music player should be. It doesn't try to sell you music, it doesn't try to get you to subscribe to a streaming service, it just let's you play the music on your phone, create and modify play lists, and has a simple single-purchase to remove ads. The only files it cares about are your audio files, so no requests to access your call history or calls or any other permissions that are irrelevant to just enjoying your music, even when you don't have a Wi-Fi or data connection.
Randomly stops playing and way to many ads. Updated response: You know exactly what ads I'm talking about, don't act like they're just pop up ads, some of them are scam websites that redirect you out of the app and into a browser to collect your data. Also after the most recent update, unable to change the cover. I would give zero ⭐'s if I could. This app used to be great.
I mostly love this app but I'm confused as to why my songs restart from the beginning when I attempt to unpause them after any amount of time. I'd like to resume from where I'd paused, as is the function of most pause buttons. Besides that it is also sometimes difficult to navigate or leave the app without changing the song I'm currently listening to, which is also frustrating. Other than those irregularities, the app is quite good.
