So here's my take on Music Player Plus. I've tried a bunch of different music apps and this one's pretty darn good. The equalizer is the standout feature - it lets you really fine-tune the sound in ways that other players don't. The folder browsing is also super handy for finding specific songs fast. Downsides are that the free version has ads, and some of the more advanced features like playlist creation aren't super intuitive. But if you want a powerful, customizable music player, this is one of the better options I've found.

Pros

  • Powerful equalizer with tons of sound presets
  • Supports all the most popular audio formats
  • Lets you browse and play music by folder, not just artist/album
  • Free version available, don't have to pay to use the core features

Cons

  • Ads can get annoying in the free version
  • Some advanced features like playlists aren't super intuitive
  • Might be overkill if you just want a basic music player

Description

Been using Music Player Plus for a couple months now. It’s basically a super customizable music player app where you can browse and play all your tunes. Pretty solid if you’re into jamming out on your phone.

Here’s what you can do: There’s a powerful equalizer with over 22 preset sound styles, so you can tweak the music to your liking. It’s got support for all the common audio formats too. And the folder view is really handy for finding specific songs quickly. Took me a bit to figure that one out, but it’s super useful.

Look, if you’re into having a lot of control over how your music sounds, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

doesn't work properly when navigating between songs. I'll skip forward/backward and the current song continues to play. if I press it again, then it jumps ahead/behind two songs. quite frustrating

My only complaint is that it doesn't display the band name on the main list, and I have a few "best of" albums that, for some reason, are listed under...
