In my experience, Musicnotes is one of the better sheet music apps out there. I've tested a bunch of similar apps and this one has a more comprehensive feature set without being overly complicated. The ability to transpose and mark up the music is really useful, and the library of available songs is pretty impressive. The only downsides are that the interface takes some getting used to, and the app can feel a little slow or buggy at times. But overall it's a solid option for musicians who want a versatile digital sheet music solution.

Description

I’ve been using the Musicnotes Sheet Music Player app for a couple months now. It’s basically a digital sheet music viewer and practice tool. Pretty solid if you’re into reading and playing music on your phone.

Here’s what you can do – you can view and play sheet music from their huge library, use the transpose tool to change the key, and even mark up the music with your finger or a stylus. There’s also a metronome feature which is super handy for practicing. Took me a while to figure out all the tools but it’s a pretty capable app overall.

Look, if you’re a musician or music teacher, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of Musicnotes. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but it does the job and makes it easy to take your sheet music on the go. Worth checking out if you need a mobile solution for practicing and performing.
