Reviews for Musixmatch: lyrics finder

"request a feature" button is broken otherwise this wouldn't have had to be a review. Your drafts theoretically get saved to your account when working on a song, but you can't re-access a draft cross-platform (phone app vs pc webpage), nor check to see if you have any drafts or where. You have to click on the same song and hope a notification asks if you want to use your draft. The word by word syncing is laggy, not sure what the point is - wish I could at least go back and forth in the song.

Very frustrated. I use Musicolet as my player app. When I first installed Musicmatch it automatically appeared in my player, ready to use. Since then, it no longer opens when I'm using the player. Worse, I can't figure out how to open Musicmatch to use it. I signed up for the free 7 day premium trial today. But I'm beginning to regret it and probably won't continue after the trial period ends.

Please, change it back to the way it was before, everytime I try to use the floating lyrics it shows in 'compact' mode, it never remembers that I use 'full' mode, also it always tries to translate the lyrics automatically, please add an option to never translate automatically. I love this app, I pay for the subscription and having to change that every lyric it's so annoying, specially when it was working fine before (and yes, I've tried setting 'remember state' and it does nothing)

Recently most of the lyrics have misspelled words within them and it is very irritating to have to figure out what it was meant to say as the song is still playing! And, sometimes the lyrics do not keep up with the song, and I use music coming straight from Google play music which means that the music is valid and working perfectly. PLEASE fix these things for a 5 star!! Also please respond. Thx

I'm beyond frustrated. I love this app but trying to make any contribution is the biggest pain in the ass. I've edited the currently incorrect lyrics for 'Get Down' by Isador 4 times, every time it says it was accepted, then I'd take the time to sync the lyrics, and it would show the wrong lyrics again. THEN, when i finish that and close out of it, the lyrics have been replaced with some other language when the song hasn't even been translated to another language yet and i can't change it back.

Out of sync on my galaxy S9+. 50 percent of the time the floating lyrics don't even detect that I'm on Spotify listening to a song it's played before. What a frustrating piece of junk. About to find an alternative. Totally kills my listening to music mood because I'm too busy being pissed off at this app. With an off timing of the "synchronized lyrics" it makes it so much harder to memorize lyrics while reading it. I was better off with no lyrics at all. This app just throws me off. Good luck.

UPDATE: Edited my review because there's a bug that skips my songs. Sometimes a couple, but it can skip 5 songs in a row. Used to be my favorite music player because it has lyrics to almost every song. Now, ads pop up EVERYWHERE. Each time I click something, an ad pops up. And not only this, but it keeps crashing every 10 minutes.

I've used this app for years and I love but recently things are not doing well. There's this glitch that keeps skipping songs when you're on Bluetooth. It keeps coming back to a certain state, let's say you closed the app in the middle of a song, the next time you open the app and as you navigate through your songs it will at a random moment get back to that song when you closed the app before. If the only problem was the ads, I'd certainly give it 5 stars. Anyways, I hope they fix them.

Decent app if you want to get into lyric transcription. But the android version of it is riddled with bugs and errors that force you to close the app and re-open. Once you do, your work is gone. Half the songs I've transcribed won't let me submit the lyrics because the Auto-Refine tool they have just won't work and refuses to let you submit the lyrics. I do enjoy syncing the lyrics to songs though, and have had only a bit of trouble with that. Overall, not a great experience.

Used to be the best music player on the app store. Really clean interface, intuitive design, simplistic. Now, its garbage. Sometimes it desides to skip 3-4 songs in a row, sometimes it decides to just stop playing the fule altogether. Sometimes it decides you replay the song from the beginning, depsite you being in the middle of the track. Thankfully the ads have been less lately, but they are stull plentiful and annoying. The ability to search your own music library was mysteriously removed.
