Useless app, I paid more than $40 and still cannot send a message,,many (hidden) charges,, (can't send a message until I buy another number to get a code,,, and pay $2.5 a week,,, they didn't mention that before I pay the $40,,,, never deal with these people....

I love this service, thank you! Just one pain point irritation- upon selecting 'Call' from the in box the calling to country flag auto defaults to the USA so you have to scroll all the way through to find the country required (please allow option to select ones preferred default), also you can't just type ±44 (or country code) or backspace to delete the default ±1, you're forced to select the country ....🤔
I haven't seen apps offering data plans. My2nd Line does, which is a huge advantage. However, the scope of devices supporting Sim card limited and they are very expensive. This fact narrows the number of potential customers. My phone doesn't support app' Sim card. Due to this, I can't purchase a Sim card and use the app to its full potential. The support team promptly responded to my comment and offered a Sim card, which is compatible with my phone device. It worked in Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
don't buy subscription from them you will use service for 5 days then they will suspend your account by saying that it does not follow guidelines I hardly dialed 2 numbers and they suspend the account they don't know privacy between you and customer might be they will listen your call
I chose the yearly plan on toll-free number but the app keeps on forced close and I didn't get the number I paid for, you guys gave me a different one.
It needs further improvement so far as the location of its buttons is. There is clear voice and great app but you should change its dial pad just like a common cell phone
this app the worse. I bought UK number and 70% of the times the calls doesn't even connect. and if does connect you cannot hear the other person neither can he. there's no call history feature. and it logs you out of the app randomly when your are scrolling within app.
Don't waste your time purchasing this service. They have the worst customer service and the user interphase of the app is very behind in the days when technology is fast advancing. You can't even check your minutes balance. They will ask you to provide different documents just to scam you. They have gone on to assume I'm using it for business. Don't bother purchasing this service. It's a scam! I just wasted money buying this service. Please DON'T!!!!

I live in South America, but like to have a Canadian phone number so friends, financial institutions, etc... can find me. Just switched to this app... looks and works great, but I'm only 24 hours into it. Also needed support for 2FA access, which this service provides with SMS. I'll post a follow up if I find any issues... Update: August 2025 - this app works great. I can call canadian businesses with a local number, and they can call me back. Friends too, those that can handle whatsapp 🤣😂
TOTAL SCAM!! Very deceiving pricing, paid for a number and then they asked for more money for features that were supposed to be included in the original price. I suggest using a more honest alternative like Hushed.

I paid My 2nd Line service for a week subscription which worked fine the first time. But when I purchased another week the next time, the app froze right after the payment, didnt proceed to the next step. I never received a number despite being charged. I reported the issue to app’s support team immediately but havent received a clear response even today. I also reported a UI issue where the chatbox is covered by the keyboard while typing, support dismissed as my phone issue
I went to the trouble of opening an account, and after at least 45 minutes of trying to choose the best number I had a part in making, plus one I can remember! Next page, pay $9.99 A WEEK, for the service. I thought this was free or at the VERY LEAST, LIKE, $9 a MONTH! They allot only a certain amount of texts or pay! I think they think cell service just started. Nowadays, everything is unlimited, except with these guys! Can't afford their, "free (or at least very cheap!!) service.
This is a terrible app! Do not pay for this. One day the number I was using just disappeared after I paid for yet another "upgrade", and then after contacting them, they said they fixed it, made the number re-appear in the app but it still wouldn't work. Everything is an extra charge in this app, I had even paid the $49 fee to keep the phone number I originally signed up for, just to have it disappear anyway. Please don't waste your money on this app.
I think it's awkward, cumbersome and makes you go back-and-forth too much when you're attaching photos or other items, and I could only do one and go back out to pick up another put it back in and finish up text message. If you have put the wrong picture. On your msg. & to remove they told me to swipe it to the right? And that will delete the whole conversation. Not just picture & that's ridiculous . just like text message you top out @150 bites. No phone issues just text. At day 3 & done
Such a terrible app I actually went out of my way to find it on rate it on the app store. Lots of upcharges, lots of adds, lots of hidden costs... all on top of a monthly subscription. Not to mention it doesn't work at least half the time, with calls and texts not going through or being received. Hands down the worst second phone line app I have ever used.
I've purchased 2 numbers that do not work for their intended verification code purposes. However, the vitual help services suggested I change the numbers. Naturally, if I change the numbers, I will have to repay additional funds, which happens to cost double the amount of money, than I originally paid. Meanwhile, neither of the 2 numbers that I'd already paid for are inoperable for their verification code purposes. What a rip-off! Classic bait & switch!
I think it's ok. It's cheap; with cheapness comes a price. When people call, I do not get a notification, or a sound unless I am in the app, phone opened. I miss 100% of the calls that I get. Next, it is very limited. For about the same price, I could get unlimited + data plan in my country (Canada). It's broken; if you are focused on a different app while in a call, the person can't hear you anymore. The buttons will show something but be untrue (speaker icon being green but not working).
