So here's my honest take on My Army Post. I've tested a bunch of military/base info apps and this one's pretty solid. The features are really practical and it's saved me a lot of time trying to hunt down things like gym hours or which gates are closed for construction. And the navigation is super convenient too. On the downside, the design is a little dated and the notifications can get a bit spammy at times. But overall it's a helpful app that makes life on post a little easier.

Pros

  • Tons of useful info in one place - gate hours, facility schedules, weather, and more
  • Convenient navigation to buildings just by the number
  • Free to use, don't need to pay for the good features
  • Notifications keep you up to date on important base news
  • Works great for both new and experienced soldiers

Cons

  • UI looks a bit dated and cluttered
  • Notifications can get annoying if you don't tweak the settings
  • Some info is not always 100% accurate or up-to-date

Description

Been using My Army Post for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you get information about your Army post – things like gate hours, gym schedules, weather, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re stationed on an Army base and need to stay up to date on what’s going on.

Here’s what you can do: you can set your home post and get push notifications about gate closures and traffic. There’s also info on hours for places like the PX, hospital, and restaurants. And you can even navigate to buildings just by knowing the number – super handy when you’re trying to find a new office or gym.

Look, if you’re on an Army post, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does a great job of keeping you informed about what’s happening around base. Worth checking out.

I downloaded it but my post isn't on there. Fort Huachuca. any plans on adding it?

App opens but does not go past the Army logo star.
