So here's my honest take on My Collection: Comic Scanner. I've tested a bunch of comic book apps and this one's pretty good. The automatic recognition works well most of the time, and I like how you can access your collection across devices. The free model is generous too - no paywalls or anything. On the downside, the UI is a little outdated and the app can be slow to load sometimes. But overall, it's a solid option if you want to easily catalog your comic book stash.

Description

Been using My Collection: Comic Scanner for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you snap photos of your comic books and automatically catalog them. Pretty solid if you’re a big comic book collector.

Here’s what you do – just take a pic of the comic and the app will instantly recognize the volume and issue number. It even gives you a price guide for the comic. There’s also a web version where you can manage your whole collection. It’s got some cool features like tracking your collection value over time.

Look, if you’re into comic books, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job of helping you organize your comics. Worth checking out, especially since it’s completely free.
