I really do love this app! With emotes to express how your day was, the passcode lock, and of course the diary entrees its really great and so easy to use! My only problem, the themes look great and all but most of them are premium which I dont have money to buy. Besides that I would like it if I could insert pictures from my gallery to use for a custom theme, it would really be nice to pick the background color to go along with my picture as well. Other then that the app is perfect!

This app works very well, simple design, Memberships are 1-5 dollars monthly, the 1 dollar seems to work pretty well with wallpapers and some sticker packs, still figuring out the lock section. Please make it to where your lock option is one of the first things that comes up so it's not extremely hard for people to find it, and if you don't have one, add one and this will be a absolute 5 star review! I note things down about friends and more, would write but I'm running out of room!

I don't like or understand how to use other diary apps. But, this one is super simple! You can make a pin to lock all your secrets from your pesky brother, you can choose background themes and more! Also, other thing really quickly, Grammerly hells you write in this diary and make it easier and more enjoyable. Also, the adds don't take over your life like other games do! Also, if the team is seeing thos, all your other games a amazing too! Super easy and fun! Overall, love the app! Amazing!

Ads, asking for ratings, and asking to set reminders is a bit out of control. It's like 4-5 combined of these before you can back out of the app or to a previous page. Other than that, there are a lot of unavailable options on the free version, which I'm totally fine with. It's a great app, simple if you want it to be, smooth. Pretty. I can log my entries and that's all I need at the end of the day, if I want more I'll be fine with paying for more.

I love this app. Usually I don't have time to write in a real journal, but this app is really easy to use. You just type or speak what you want written. You can also add pictures and emojis too. And even draw and paint. I like how you can choose what astetic you want for your diary as well. The only thing that I don't really like is that some things you can only get by getting pro mode, which I guess is fine, but it would be nicer if you included some of the features in the normal game.

It's a great app! I love the stickers, themes, and customization amongst other things. However, one thing that's really unfortunate is if I leave the app for a bit, if I was doing a recording--whether it was finished or not--if the entry becomes a draft, the recording is completely gone. It's discouraging if my whole day was talked about in the recording. This has happened three times, so far. Please, fix this.

I love this app! It feels super safe for my private thoughts, and the extra password recovery setup gives me peace of mind. The themes and fonts are beautiful and totally customizable. I write long entries with no problem, and I love that I can add photos too. I even upgraded to Pro. There are no ads and tons more themes. It’s the best diary app I've ever used!

This app kept me alive. It was my only way to vent and only company during the worst year of my life. Even though I'm better now I've still been writing for a year and a half. It can be highly personalized and made super cutesy and girly for women but it also allows a guy like me to make it clean and simple looking. It's organized, simple enough that anyone could use it but has cool in-depth features for the curious, and is safe and secure with diary locks cloud saving. Easily worth the money.

I've been using this app for years and it is literally perfect for me! This app has singlehandedly sparked my love of journaling. I use both this app and a physical journal that I like to go back and forth with; I prefer to use the app when I am near water, in a low lit environment, or if I just need to get my thoughts out quicker than I could handwriting. And I admittedly am still using the free version and it works great! Highly recommend. 👍

I bought the lifetime package deal and I couldn't be anymore happier to finally have a diary app. I tried many as well as the other one they own and not only this had the best price deal but it has more features then any other diary app out there. I'm a girl who loves many options so of course I went for this one. thank you, keep it up

I just started using this app tonight but so far I really enjoy it. There's lots of different colors , backgrounds, & fonts you can use. I like that it sends me a little reminder to tell me to check in. It's not just a plain old journal that you write in, there's lots of different options that makes writing in it everyday more of an option for someone who has a hard time sticking to a routine. The price option is great also. Super affordable compared to others. Thank you "My Diary".

Pretty simple and good, I love the features and how it looks. But the amount of ads is annoying, to save I have to go through the ads twice, with so many clicks (3 each time) to X out the ads. I understand they want to me to pay for pro, but I don't think it needs this many ads to be free. I will switch to a different app once I found a better less ads one

Most features require you to pay. Using this as way to keep track of my food, drug and exercise, so I won't need the really specific paid stuff anyway. Edit on 20th July 2025: Having some trouble with editing past entries: I sometimes add things like reflections on events after they occur, send I used to be able to do this, but now I can't. I finally got around to backing up my files, because of this, so it's a mixed curse/blessing. But please look into it.

I downloaded the app because I was looking for a place to write about life's issues. This app had many generous reviews, is visually appealing, has different types of emojis, reminders and other sorts of nuances. ultimately, I've decided this app is not for me. I am a little older so I expect less presentations for just a journal. With all the little things you can add to the writing section it does not at all feel private or intimate as a diary should feel. I am going to uninstall it.

Love this app! Having issues with the bullet points, and the issue reporting email thing isn't working, so mentioning it here. Otherwise, app works great! Super cute art, stickers, and themes. Love the tagging system. Edit: Lowering to 3 stars because of new issues that I'm still unable to report. "Network issues" for over a week now that affect things like themes when I have perfect network connection.

I've been using this app nightly for almost three years with absolutely zero issues until I suddenly started getting achievements I got years ago, so obviously confused I went to my list of achievements and for some reason I lost almost all of them! I know for a fact that I unlocked most of them but now it says I don't have most of them. It's not a big deal, hardly an issue but I would still like to have all of my achievements back...

I love this app! I use it as a gratitude journal. I like being able to add my own photos and the ability to customize each journal entry. I especially love the gallery view, which allows me to look at all the photos and videos I've posted seamlessly. I had an issue with the app and resent the email to the developers, and they were able to help me troubleshoot my phone to fix the issue.

Edited review: Yesterday I wrote a 5 star review for this app- I had no ads at all and could add as many photos as I wanted... But today I wasn't able to ad any pictures because you have to have pro to do this. The app doesn't set the date automatically, and even though I had the date correct when I saved it, the app switched it back to September something. I soon realized to use pretty much all of the things on this app, you MUST have premium. There is also CONSTANT adds. I'm pretty bummed.

I like this app, but it is so glitchy if you go up and try to type something higher up in your message, it keeps trying to force you to the bottom of the entry so you're constantly trying to fight the UI to write something that isn't at the bottom of your message. I often find myself just writing an entry in my phone's notebook and copying and pasting in this app in an entry so I don't have to fight the UI for the entire time to get my full thoughts out. Without this glitch, it'd be 5 stars.

I don't like this app. When I need to get some crucial things out of my head, when I need to focus and write to heal, first there are pop-ups I need to get through. Then there are annoying banners WHILE I'm writing that are VERY distracting, and after, my thoughts are further interrupted by video ads. A journal is a sacred space. Seeing ads thrown all over it makes me want to puke. All these distractions just add to mental distress, which is the opposite of the purpose of journaling.
