Can't get the app to work, it keeps asking me to scan my finger for biometric but then doesn't login

I have used the online services forever. I struggled a bit with the latest changes on the website at first, but am getting it figured out. I am a dinosaur and don't particularly enjoy change... I totally appreciate MyDoctor online, and would and do recommend Kaiser to everyone! Robert Baker

I updated app today, 8/15/25, v9.1.0. Now when I open it, I get a swirling white circle, do not get biometric sign in on Galaxy S10, and then get the message that the app is not responding. Great. Hate forced updates that result in making my app worthless. And now this app is totally worthless.

I use it very often. I think it works great and is easy enough. oh! I don't care for the email options because my highlight bars for my phones "home" screen actually gets in the way ... but. I don't know how the app could help with that. otherwise, great.

I had some trouble with the biometric sign-in, but that problem has gone away. Now that it is working, I am updating my review. The app is very convenient and gives me access to messages and all of the functions of the website. I feel secure that I can easily contact my care team as needed.

Read "Don't make me think" and fix the app. I was instructed by the advice nurse to send a photo of my condition to my doctor thought the app. Selecting the option to message put me thought a string of FAQ answers and when prompted to email the doctor, it signed me out of the application. Trying again, it just dumped me back to the main menu. Turns out to contact the doctor, there's a completely different path to take. I'd give this app 0 stars if I could. The navigation is misleading.

I like the change made to see Appt notes and after appt notes. we don't have to go back out to the menu.

Decent app so far, does what I need it to do. My only problem is it's slow, way too slow. It takes some time to load whatever was clicked. Other than that, it works. Would be nice to have a "select all" function, really hate deleting all those messages individually.

Its such a slow app, locks you out of most basic functions without explanantion, profile photo, ability to change password, no option to disable cookies either. Considering this is an app designed for "healthcare" this is pretty invasive and controlling. Edit: changing the password is actually easy if you just lie and say you forgot it but you need to go through the website and not the app to do it. Braindead app design plain and simple, I recommend you fire whoever is developing this.
