Reviews for My Invisalign - Official App

← Back to My Invisalign - Official App

It used to notify me of when to change aligners but now it doesn't, my notifications have always been set to on, I never changed a setting. Thanks to this app I suffered a 3 days delay on when to change aligners. DON'T TRUST THIS to be notified when to change aligners, it's now a useless app. Also the photos I uploaded to keep track of my progress were uploaded to their server and I have no way of seeing them, there's nowhere to go on the app to take a look at them, they disappeared to oblivion.

It uses a LOT of battery power for NOT a lot of anything. Reminders, timers, and a gallery of selfies, some documentation, some shopping that's all I see in it.... No heavy processing but it's the biggest battery power user by far. Also, for some reason, the information available from the Invisalign site in a browser on a desktop has a different collection of selfies. Are there two different databases? Shouldn't the user experience be seamless?

Really poor user experience and no value at all. Seriously, I can make a better app for myself in the time it takes me to get past all the glitches. Stay away from it, all it does is to give you the ability to set reminders. Which you can do with any other app you already use (GCalendar, todo apps, etc). Why even provide an app? Just to sell data of registered users? Definitely one of the worst apps I've seen.

What did you do to this app? I can't use the timer at all anymore. Every time I try, the whole app shuts down. Completely useless. Update: have not been able to log time in 4 days. Update 2: now the timer works again, it's changed to log time out, not in. But when I use it, the times are not reflected in the day's total. I now have to manually enter the previous day's time every single day.

No manual log option. Does not work offline. I have to let it run when home for the amount of time I noted down at work. No separate days so I had to add onto the current time to approximate when to stop it. Or round time up or under. Lists me with zero compliant days for some reason when I started near noon on day one. It will never be accurate. The reply to my review looks like they didn't comprehend what I stated for the multiple issues brought forward.

My experience is very frustrating. As a new client I'm still unable to register online or through the app and I'm on week 3 of my plan. Every time I enter my information it says: " Aligner number, the name, or the patient id isn't valid...". Even when I choose the get help option it prompts me to enter this info, and again says it's not valid, so I can't even get help through the app or website. An id number shouldn't be required to get help. This is very displeasing.

Several things I wish for this app: the ability to choose to not have to log in everything I access the app (I already log in to my phone); ability to see the total time the invisalign has been out so far that day so I know how much time I have left if I'm trying to keep it out less than 2 hrs a day. (There are other things but those two would improve my experience with the app dramatically)

I am on my second week on tray one, the app I have is up to date. It is such a nuisance having to constantly enter a pin each time or sometimes having to completely log back in to the app. Also, I would assume the daily log would sync according to the timer of trays being out. That's not the case. I am having to log my daily time trays are in the day after. The day after, timer is reset. So you'd have to take an extra step and remember how long your trays were on the day before.

Mostly marketing. I don't see anything useful in here for which I actually need the app, except taking photos and sending them to my dentist, which I can do without the app anyway. There is also a timer for when you have the trays out , and reminders for when to change trays, but those are settings I had to input myself. Shouldn't the app know automatically and tell me? It seems to be just a tool to harvest data for marketing purposes. Uninstalled.

The counter on this app is not properly made for it's purpose. Before the recent update, it at least told me how much time I had the trays out (basically it was a stopwatch). But now it doesn't even show that. I have to write it down on a note so I can easily know how long they have been out. I also cannot easily edit the time out if I forgot to turn it off or on. I have to keep track on a note for the rest of the day and then edit it the next day when it allows. Timer system needs to be fixed.

The timer function is pretty dumb. The app wants you to let it's timer run in the background all day and only stop when the aligners are out. It should really be the other way around and only time when they are out and send a reminder every 30 minutes to put them back in. Oh and they need to add a function to register if you've already signed up. If you have aligners coming don't sign in until you get them!

I like the app, incredibly useful for keeping track of my wear time. But it's constantly logging me out. It's already secured with my fingerprint or pin, so it's incredibly frustrating that I'm still forced to log in 2-3 times a day with my email and password. And it doesn't even remember my username, it's like I'm logging in for the first time multiple times each day. I have banking apps don't even require this much log in. Not sure if this app is worth it.

I liked it for a bit, the new update completely messed with my calendar tracker and it acted as if I was a tray behind, the gallery takes FOREVER to load, requires a pin to get in that you can't remove, and it doesn't notify me when I've hit an hour with my tray in which was the main thing I was keeping the app for because it kept me accountable, instead it's not until I open the app again that the notification goes off. There should be a timer you can see to check how long you've had them out.

I need all the motivation I can get to keep my braces in so the app does help me with that. But it's got ridiculously strict security. It is a PITA to have to login EVERY TIME. There is no financial data in this app. I linked it to my fingerprint to make it less annoying but if you've just washed your hands and it doesn't read you're liable to get locked out and have to reset, just to be able to interact with the timer. Please create an option to stay logged in!

App works fine...... When it remembers who I am. Unfortunately, it keeps signing me out, making me manually reenter my password, instead of offering the option to save it, and making me reenter my pin. It's really annoying when you're trying to get to the timer. Also, I'm four days in, so there's nothing to update from the store.

Awful. I hate having to use a code to log in. Of all my apps, I'm pretty certain this is one of the lowest risk of getting hacked. I have a lot of difficulty access the app in the first place, When I click on it, sometimes it won't open right away and then sometimes, it crashes before I even get to the login screen. Wasting minutes matters when the whole point of the app is to track the time my trays are out!! Literally what is the point otherwise. Please make the login code optional.

When you acknowledge as a patient, it spins forever. Force close and re-open app and it's acknowledged. Try to scan package, it can't hit servers on submit. Force close and re-open, its on the next step. Click and accept for banner or option of free welcome gifts, it spins indefinitely. Close and re-open does not fix that. Seems their team needs some more testing and all the crucial first steps have issues.

Very easy to use but difficult to get the desired results which is directly related to the app's functionality! Photos disappear, face detection does not work, esp. so, when trying to capture left or a right side pic. The entire process seems seamless until it's an hour later and you're still trying to capture pics... Shame on you Invisalign App!! This process has made me not want to continue with my virtual care!!

Many features don't work correctly. you set a timer to remind you to put trays back in, and it reminds you immediately instead. Logging in requires a pin code, which is annoying anyway, but it also is slow to register the numbers you put in, so you have to slow down to punch in the code. App should have a widget to start and stop tray timer, but has none. Uninstalled.

Reminds me when I need to change to the next tray but setting up schedules has the potential of being offset. TIP: if you anticipate varied timelines go with a later date and then adjust the following weeks. Also, it does not follow the dark theme properly. The font color on the notification bar is unreadable.
