Reviews for My Pantry Tracker

Really like this app. I heard about through southern prepper1 and am using it to help organize my preps. One feature I would like to see is a print option for hard copy backup

Started giving me alerts to install "a security app" - this is NOT advertising when it makes a lot of noise DEMANDING you to do something. Good thing I hadn't given them my email address

This app is VERY useful, we use it to track alot of our food and wanted to use it to track the several hundred jars we can thru the year BUT the only reason I gave 4 stars is it will not scan QR codes. Can this be added PLEASE??? Regular barcodes dont seem to allow the amount of info / item description that a QR code does.

App good, but I have to delete it. The ads are way too loud and I get an ad everytime I click on something else or nothing at all. The ads is what kills this app for me

It's quite nice, I like the Barcode scanning functionality. I just wish it had "tap to focus" because it's not properly scanning things half the time.

Would rate this 5 stars but can't share with other family members so we are all connected and on the same page if someone runs to the grocery store. Otherwise I love being able to just type in my specific items and group them together or separate per my preferences. Please let us know when we can share with family members.

This is an awesome app. It's completely streamlined the process of inventorying my storeroom. For the convenience of keeping an easy digital inventory is worth the ads. Easily the greatest part about this app. I shop and keep inventory for not only me and my family, but for my mother at her house and this app allows me to keep inventory at both locations without mixing the 2. I would 100% recommend this app to any homesteader, prepper or person that likes knowing what they have and where it is

Just started using it and it appears to have everything required to be an awesome inventory tracker of your food and pantry items. Love the scanning and expiration functions. Mulpilte device support of one database on the cloud with paid subscription.

You have to pay an annual subscription for a cloud service just to sync your pantry items across devices like a phone and laptop (web browser). This is basic functionality that should be free. Considered paying it but I'm just going to switch to a different app instead.

Crashes upon first opening, 100% of the time. Have to tap icon a second time to get to open. I get notifications that the app crashes frequently. Once it opens, there is no problem. This is a GREAT app. Very useful to me.

App has categories, so if youre making multiple location list you can make a category, then the master list will let you search by part and tell you which category (location) its in ( I am trying to inventory both my pantry and several freezers so knowing where product is is ideal). Thus far the downside is of the six items I scanned none were available and all had to be manually input, which there are many other apps on the market that allow manual input...

Useless for a family. Lied about access to data from multiple devices. Half the items scanned in as French, process of inputting, quantifying, and categorizing took way too long. Just to then find out that being able to share the database with other family members is stuck behind a paywall, so it's completely useless for our needs to organize out household groceries. Can't even light into the same account on a second device without everything being blank. Useless.

We use this app to try to work on our pantry. it was unhelpful and we ended up just uninstalling. The problem was a year later we received the bill to renew it because of the cloud services. we asked for a refund and was told that we had to go through the Google Play. So, we did we canceled it and we could not get a refund for the $9.99 yearly cost. Even though we haven't used it in months. they should have had the decency to send us an email to let us know before it was renewed. They didn't.

Just installed. I like this platform, overall; but its UPC database needs *work.* ~97% of the items I've scanned so far are not in the database and have to be entered manually--and these are *very* common things like cottage cheese, whole milk, cheese slices, and capers. I even had to manually enter the data for a bottle of Ragu Marinara! That does not impress me at all...

Useful if your dedicated to updating it. It does come in handy when you are at a store and you see something that's on sale and you don't know how many you have at home so if you're dedicated to keeping it updated it really can come in useful and they've added some new features just recently which makes you even that much better by being able to add and subtract items from your inventory list. But I'll still play with it some more when it comes to apps like this it really takes months to examine

It does take a while to set up but already this is perfect for me. Scans codes quickly. Easy to add products with no barcodes in the data base. 😀 I am in Australia 🇦🇺. Allows me to add alot of information regarding the products. The free version is generous with the amount of categories/ items you can add. Has 1 List Subscribe for more Lists. I will buy the subscription and support the creators as more Lists will be handy for me. 👌👏 Thankyou Pantry Trackers developers

This is a cool and simple app. Once you learn to use it you'll be like I wish I had this app along time ago. If you do get a subscription there's a button at the bottom which says restore cloud or something like that. Click on it to activate your subscription. Definitely worth 9.99 a year to have no ads and unlimited entries.

Giving this three stars for now. I'm not seeing any other reviews. Set up is beautiful; it's intuitive; it's clean. I have one singular concern: ads. I don't mind ads. I mind when I'm in the middle of scanning an item and an ad pops up that's full screen and disrupts my current task. We'll see how it goes. The only way to get rid of the ads is to subscribe to cloud services - which isn't even a service I feel I need - otherwise I would have already paid for premium if it was a single rate.

I can see restrictions if the app isn't bought, but I can't get an idea if I'd even like the app if I have to buy it to have even 2 pantry locations. I have 14 locations/shelves for my items. I'm not going to bother if I can't even test it out with 2 or 3 free locations. And no, 1 week free trials won't do either. Give 3 locations, and then maybe I would have considered. Gotta give ppl a chance to see if they even like the app. That how they come back for more. Later peeps

I bought it immediately after scanning in the first item so everyone, Android and iOS, could find things in our kitchen. Worth it just for that! We buy way too many groceries. (Think Costco for 2.) That said, I disagree with some decisions. Mostly it's hard to manage multiples: each item only gets one location and expiration date. Also only one category per item. Still, it does the thing I wanted. Enough US UPCs are available to make scanning things in easier. (Comparable to MyFitnessPal, imo.)
