Wanted to charge me $13.99 for 14 days at $0.99 per day. Don't know what calculator they use but mine says 14 days at $.99 per day is $13.86. I was a bookkeeper before retiring. Had no way to contact them about the math mistake. I decided that I would leave a review instead. Obviously, I will uninstall this app because it says it's free but it's not & I can get books on Amazon for free for Kindle & they're actually free for real. This is too expensive & not free as it states.

The ONLY reason I downloaded this app was the promise of reading stories for FREE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP!!! First they give you just enough to get you really interested in a story ... Then BAM! You have to pay to read more. And they attached a tag line that says "to read more "exclusive" content, select a payment option". Their advertisements should clearly state that it NOT FREE! AND please hire someone to proofread. Uninstalling!

Edited review: They have found the issue and are working on correcting it. in the meantime, they have provided me with more than the coins I had since they can't restore my library. The book selections are very good and addictive. I started with one of the wolf ads you see, but quickly found many in my preferred genre. The quality of the reader is also good. just make sure you know your account info if you ever need support.

I started reading a book and got a pop-up for a 3 day free trial, so i signed up but couldn't read any further than the free chapters. It's really annoying. I canceled right away. Unless you pay 9.99 a month, you'll get 1 chapter every 7 hours. They're better apps that allow you to watch ads to unlock chapters.

The app has a lot of good stories to read but twice today I've opened the app and it just stays on the loading screen and won't let me see the stories I've been reading or want to read, forcing me to uninstall and reinstall the app, which loses me my daily streak and all my coins. And eight hours is a long time to wait to read the next chapter.

the app is good. it's the authors I have a problem with. I'm reading "Hiding my twin pups from my Alpha mate." great story but does anyone proof read? so many mistakes. duplicating paragraphs, changing characters names, etc. very frustrating & confusing. in order to read we have to spend money, there's not enough rewards to earn to read for free. then every chapter asks for us to send a gift. really?! the author really doesn't earn the gift with all the mistakes. Im not the only one feeling this

it takes more money than a book cost to try to finish reading one of their books. you pay a membership fee every month and then you have to earn coins to try to read the next chapter but there is never enough to finish the book that way, then they want you to buy coins to continue reading and the costs far exceeds what a book would actually cost. the story I was reading kept me engrossed in the book the storyline was fairly simple but the author kept you interested enough to keep reading.

I'd give it more stars if you had a free way or discount way to read your books. I once purchased one of these books they are rediciloisly expensive. more then a hard back book cost brand new and I can read that over and over anytime anywhere and the biggest advantage is if i get a new device I don't have to pay for the privilege of reading my favorite books again .

This is one of those apps that you hope nothing goes wrong bc when it does, customer service completely ignores you. I sent a request for several issues (they're supposed to contact you w/in the hour, it took two weeks). They said to restart it, & now all of my progress is gone. They don't edit the books, A.I. blocks a lot of the comments, the audio reader (your only option, A.I.) reads poorly and misunderstands emotions. It takes away from the reading experience. I'll be deleting soon.

I purchased 3 days of reading to see if I like the app, for 3.99. They charged me for a month, 15.99 and 1.99 I’m not sure why. I read everything to make sure I didn’t sign for that. Now can’t get into the app even though I was charged extra. I have been unable to get in since the first day. I sent a email but have not heard from them. I will notify PayPal next. I would give it no stars if I could.
