Reviews for My Porsche

← Back to My Porsche

The app worked for awhile and still does but now I have lost the ability to type in a destination and send it to the car. Old app allowed locking and unlocking of the vehicle while the new app does not. I do like the preheat function which has been great during the cold days. Hopefully soon more functions will be incorporated.

It contains absolutely nothing about my 911 turbo S.

Service keeps going down and it's not possible to see the vehicle's status or send remote commands

Beyond useless. The old version had no issues connecting to the car and setting climate. The new one just has an eternal spinning wheel and never evokes a response from the car. Just in time for winter! Reverted back to the old version but now they blocked using it. I don't understand how a manufacturer with the prestige of Porsche can fail so consistently in the tech/app realm of car manufacturing.

The stopped updating with my current charging level: shows 31%, actual is 98%. Removed, reinstalled, same result.

the worst....ever. very difficult to use and find anything. why do they even bother? only useful feature was tracking car. everything else is junk.

Could not have found a better car. The seats are so comfortable, the steering wheel awesome, the sound of the engine divine. love my Macan!

The app is ok at best but pales in comparison to Tesla. It is slow, graphics difficult, inefficient. I think Porsche can kick it up a few notches!

I can NOT for the life of me to get this app to work. I've uninstalled and installed it numerous times. It will not work. I have a brand new Porsche and don't have access to many of the features I'm paying for.

Seems to work as advertised. I don't use all the features but the ones I do 👍

ok app for basic functions, slow to update car status and stats though and not very detailed. Especially when compared to Tesla's app which is light years ahead of Porsche's app

Used to work, now crashing when selecting charger. Cannot charge. Pretty bad. just updated again, checked at home, seemed to work, went to the charger, app says no Internet, while all other apps work, including browser. seems like Porsche servers took a dive. no words to explain how bad this is

user experience design is on brand but functionality of the app doesn't align with the vehicle or brand. There just isn't a whole lot of information. Example: High Voltage battery level of charge in the new Carrera T Hybrid not available, even though it's a critical component to track driving and storage/parking duration

Generally pretty good. The "Track Your Dream" aspect of the app is pretty bad when it comes to accurately representing status (it's almost always wrong), but that could be a server issue and not the app's fault

25 Sep 2025 update broke features and inserted a huge area on the home screen dedicated to ventilation. Now everything doesn't fit without scrolling. Vehicle images disappeared. Why fix something that wasn't broken?! It sure is now.

Not bad, not useful. It quickly found my car after logging in through myporsche website. And if you arent familiar, getting your car added is "approved" by porsche, not "submit anything". I don't have a taycan, but I guess that's the only thing available for "tips and tricks" so far. Seems lacking in functionality for now, but overall flow is nice. It's a nice start and will keep for updates. I wouldn't be surprised if pfs is denied, due to security required (like banks). Hopefully less gossip?

Frustrating, the app will only locate me in the UK and I'm in the US. I registered with a US address and phone number and the app still has me located in the UK so I can't register my US car.

it's rare I'll give you that. An absolutely terrible app for a great car. you don't see that every day. i can personally interpret that as the developer does not care about what people think. An indication of a stupid strategy. remember, there is a plethora of good cars out there so dont don't puch your luck.

Jul 12th update to comment: I have sent two emails to customer support and have not received a response back. I haven't been able to connect to my PCM since the last app update in June. Remote Access Authorization will not work. I've tried the app as well as the website and nothing works. Please help. I've paid for three different PCM subscriptions and can't even use them. It's only happened since the most recent update and didn't have this issue before.

Misses one of the most important features. For EVs it may give you charging information, but if you drive a combustion engine 911, there is no way to check your battery status. Porsche's are sadly famous for draining their battery when not driven, even for relatively short periods, and while I can check almost anything with the app and open the door remotely (???), you can't see your battery status. All you get is a theft alarm notification that basically tells you that your battery is dead. 👎
