I would give this app a ZERO minus if I could. After I put the member phone number in, app sends a verification code to phone. Second input screen asks for the code--there is a set of lines each with a zero that you are supposed to click on and type in the code. Unfortunately, phone's keyboard doesn't respond when I press the lines; it Won't or Can't pop up. App is useless if I can't get past the login screen. 😡 (After reading the reviews, I'm uninstalling. Such a waste; app looks promising.)

I also tried to Copy & Paste, waste of time too. The app works fine on a friends phone & my ChromeBook tho just not my cell, GO FIGURE! So just don't waste ur time folks!💯🤯
Terrible experience with this app. I downloaded it and when I went to go open it I clicked on it and nothing would happen like it froze up. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it. I cleared my cash and cookies. When it would finally do something' it just took me to a web page and I wasn't even in the app anymore. So I think the app is junk and needs to be worked on or needs to be deleted and redone completely. Love Safelink, though.
Update: This app STILL doesn't work! I click on it to open the app and it wants your phone number to login in. Ok no problem, accept the keyboard refuses to pop up! I have checked and checked and there's nothing wrong with my keyboard! Why even have an app when it don't even work? I am so fed up with Safelink! I can't even send a picture thru text message! When I leave my house, I have NO internet access! Not dealing with this much longer! I'd rather pay than deal with this madness!
App won't let me enter my phone number and the cursor just blinks at the beginning of the line so the APP seems useless. So far the phone itself works fine. I received a Nokia C100 N152DL. The only thing that I don't care for is the "slide your finger navigation," as sometimes sliding your finger causes something to be removed from the screen, so I found the setting that placed three navigation "buttons" at the bottom of the screen.
First off the app does not work at all. Uninstalled and reinstalled three times and will not do it again. I'm better off just going on the internet to look at my account. As soon as you put in your first number of your phone number it freezes and stops. Therefore you cannot put in the rest of your phone number. So you can't get to your account which makes this app unusable. I'm running on Android and not an older model either. App has too many bugs that need to be fixed. Developers fix please.
The idea of having an app to instead of having to go online is great. However. I downloaded this app last night. This morning I open the app and try to put in my phone number. But it doesn't let me. The cursor is there blinking away. I click the box to enter the number and absolutely nothing happens. Once I'm able to access and use the app I will update
This app has been broken for years. You can't login because the keyboard won't pop-up when you go to enter your credentials. There is a work around, but you have to download some weird keyboard that you can force open while using the app. 0 stars if possible. How can this be broken for so many years and it's an easy fix! Hire a developer already and get your app fixed. It's pathetic.
Nowadays, A.I. or a 5th grader can make a better app than this, or at least fix the problems so we can sign in. The keyboard doesn't appear, so we can not put in the phone number. Modern technology is too advanced for this type of stupidity. I guess you have to buy something in order to make it work. 1 star was as low as it would go.
Update 2023: Doesn't work. Keyboard does not pop up. Unusable. The app doesn't work properly when entering the pin. It freezes when trying to convert the keyboard to numerical. This has been a known issue. Now, it just freezes and stays stuck. Before I just needed to wait a bit. Please fix so I can access my account information.
Doesn't work! Keyboard freezes so I can't sign it! I tried 50 times. Same problem each time. I tried changing keyboards, tried voice text, nothing worked! If I can't even sign in obviously I can't know how the app works.. Bwahahaha! Mickey Mouse app! It's not too complicated to fix this problem, I saw multiple people saying the same thing! So you're obviously aware of the issue, yet you don't fix it? Even if you eventually do fix it, I'll never know! No way I'd ever download this app again!🖕🏽
My keyboard won't pop up to allow me to enter my phone number up on opening the App. So that's as far as I can get. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times. It's useless. Also, I have the TCL T607DL from SafeLink. I've had it 3 months and have never had more problems with a phone. Is you're thinking about switching to SafeLink, think again.
My phone doesn't work. No calls, no texts, data is almost non existent. And the customer service to resolve the issue has been nothing close to helpful in resolving the issue. Don't call back when they say they're going to, fail to do much more than read through a script, ignoring you when stating how youve done all the trouble shooting steps. The concept is nice, but pointless if execution doesn't keep up. And false advertisement.
I just checked My SafeLink app and for the first time in I don't know how long, the app worked !! I was able to enter my number and voila !! The menu and my pertinent information came up. Before, it wouldn't even let you type in your number, no key board would come up. I didn't realize how much I missed this app, I hope it continues working. 😃😃😬😬
Another customer said it right, it uses sooo much data so you get less than the measly amount they give you. And the app doesn't ever work properly! Uninstall if you have it! People, before anyone says i am not grateful for free government phones- let me just say that we never had a choice when it comes to technology. "They" move it along and set the pricing and the timing for all of mankind's inventions to make our lives simplified and modern. But the catch is, we become extremely dependent
The BUTTONS on the homescreen work, "apply now" opens the Web browser inside the app, "phone number" for login brings up the cursor but not the keyboard! I've read this is issue has not been fixed for a looong time. Personally I'd like to stay in the SafeLink app itself, and also, it would be easier to just stay logged in on the app or just enter my phone number, ONE STEP! Please try to fix that phone number button soon. Thank you -Eric
I hate they make you put even one star. I've had this phone for about a year now and I can NEVER log into the app. It doesn't let you put a phone number in it just keeps blinking but doesn't let you actually put a number in. The website is even glitchy. But I guess you get what you don't or cheaply pay for. You get cheap results, and a TERRIBLE APP. AND WEBSITE!
Cannot login to my account due to the fact that when asked for your phone number, the keyboard never comes up in order to enter the phone number, I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and still nothing. After reading lots of feedback from other unsatisfied customers, it appears that this has been a problem for quite some time now. I'm not sure if SafeLink is or isn't reviewing the feedback or if they just NEED a completely new (and working) app. But I agree with many others...FIX IT!
This app deserves a 0 star rating. It worked for a few weeks when it was originally released but now it is completely useless. Entering your phone number to log in doesn't pop up the keyboard and entering it manually through a bluetooth keyboard (or any other method) is futile. It will either lock up or send you to a page that just says "text". Don't bother with this app, and don't bother with Safelink. Edit: It's been almost a full year and it STILL doesn't work.
Your app is one of the worst apps that there are. As well as your support for the app and service. I have nothing good to say about any of the services you offer. I will not go into detail about the experience I have had with The Service, The App., The Product. But I will say all of the services that control People's data plans cheat us out of data, money, and privacy. 3 years I have been subject to this manipulative system and every day I look at it I see more and more violation of our trust.
