two-step was introduced as mandatory and it's incapable of actually sending a text, making me sign into my email every time I want to sign into my account. this is no longer a convenient way to contact my providers. if I wanted increased security, I would have asked for it. it's my account. I should be able to turn off a faulty two-step verification.
Reviews for MyChart
← Back to MyChartThe MyChart app has been one of the best things to happen in healthcare. It is up to date in real time and stores and saves ALL appointments, lab results, test results, procedure results, screenings, tests, etc.with images.Medications are up to date with details. I just started using this app, & it has records from 4 places and goes back to 2019! AND I decided to use Kroger pharmacy and they have access to my chart as well. No waiting in long lines. They have it ready and let me know to come get
Pretty great app. I use it all the time and has plenty of features. It's interesting that you can supposedly e-check in but when you get there, you still are required to check in. Also, it can be hard finding times for doctors appts as they sometimes seem like there's an issue with the system. But overall, a very nice app.
MyChart has become my brains! The only little foible is the thumbnail on my desktop occasionally showing a number that looks to be a number of new messages or lab results or something when there is really nothing new there. Also, it reminds you of refills you have that seem to have no basis in reality. But it reminds me of appointments, let's me schedule or message my providers, lists lab results so quickly I sometimes think they have time travel technology and is overall an extremely useful app
-I'm always unable to schedule an appointment with my Primary provider through the app & always have to call. Schedulers always tell me I should be able to, but that's not the case. Often confusing. -I get emails saying I have a new message in MC but there are never any new ones visible. Today a bunch were visible I'd never been able to see. -Despite being a patient since the early 90s, there are missing appointments, test results, etc. I've mentioned this repeatedly yet issue has persisted.
This app frequently has server issues, so I'm unable to access my information. I've needed to access certain documents for doctor's appointments with no luck. That kind of defeats the purpose of having it. I might have to go "old school" and print everything out to keep in a folder. I've already had to do way too many screenshots. Not good.
Can't link accounts across practices. No follow-up from IT to address problem. Requires user to resupply old information. Dates have all been reset and are not correct. No change in stars or comments. Both practices use the app but all I get is an error message when I try to open the linked account. I went through two levels of the help desk and was told it was escalated to IT. Nothing has happened. Perhaps Epic should provide better training to the practices to allow them to address problems.
This app allows the patient to schedule their own appointments without spending a lot of time on the phone and have better control over your health by reviewing lab results and other documents that health related, you can also message your doctor directly and get a response within 24 hours, most times they answer the same day. I like that I can add my appointments to the calendar on my phone with one click and set an alarm so I don't forget
I've had the MyChart app for over a year. I've been able to log in with both my PC and phone. Suddenly, my username and password won't be accepted. The app won't let me change my password or user name. If I try to make a new account the error shows that I have an account. I NEED INTO MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY. I'm tired of the app not ever working. This is supposed to be convenient. IT IS NOT. IT'S ONLY MAKING EVERYTHING HARDER .
This has not been working for 2 days. I can log in but nothing works. Everything I choose results in at least 20 seconds buffering then reverting to menu with message "An error has occured on the server. Please try later." There was a new update & I did that. EDIT: After lengthy call with tech support and email, the issue has been resolved. I'm not sure if something actually was fixed as they did not contact me back by phone or email, but it is working again as of later July 2nd.
I really like all the info that I can access using the app. It was a little difficult to set up at 1st, but once it's installed and login is set, then it has lots of options that r easy to find and use. Usually, the test results r there quickly. And the appts. r all there with e-check in making it faster and easier at reception for appts. Overall, a positive experience, that I'd recommend to others.
I like "double checking" my upcoming appointments -- when one is recovering from a severe (multi-specialist) condition, the number of appointments can be vast and confusing. I also really enjoy reading the providers clinical notes. This is how the "scientist-doctor" really "sees" you. Just the facts. [And I do sometimes clarify what may be in the notes.]
pay button disappears with large font and display. I am trying to use the app to pay a bill but, after I enter my payment information, i cannot see the "pay" button unless I shrink my text and display to the smallest sizes. please fix so the green "pay" tab shows no matter what size my font and display are set. I do not want to save my credit card data to your app so I unchecked that box as well.
The overall app is great- but lately it's been crashing, hasn't been loading correctly, kicks you out, and won't let you access your information at times. It's frustrating to say the least. Doesn't matter if you're using the app or website. For some reason, it seems to only be happening for specific medical centers. Some load perfectly fine, others consistently don't.
Good, but it has periodic glitches. I like that I can review my labs and radiology reports and make appointments. My only gripe is that there are some glitches when scheduling an"evisit." The app will give the option to choose from, but when I click the button, a message populates that it isn't available. Every time this has happened, I would have to send a message to my provider who tells me she still supports e visits. It is becoming an inconvenience.
The app IS NOT user friendly! Each time I try to log in,I ha e to change my password! Ridiculous! Now,when I open the app it sends me around in circles to things I have no idea what they are asking. It is asking for my organization name and location! I simply want to review my information and speak to my doctors. Your app makes this almost impossible! There is not a link to get help at all! Terrible app!!!! It will not let me rate ZERO stars or I would. You guys need to get "customer service"!
MyChart is an ok repository for medical records, but it's not great for setting appointments or for communication with doctors. There are different confusing ways to contact the practice and half the time they don't seem to get my messages. For appointments I've found in most cases it's a lot easier to just call by phone. There is a lot of functionality here, but in terms of usability, the site and the app are not intuitive. They need to hire some better user experience design professionals.
This app worked fine a few weeks ago, then just stopped letting me log in on my phone. It IMMEDIATELY gives me an error saying "We could not log you in at this time. Please try again later." for a few tries, then locks out for 30 minutes. I enter my username and password correctly. It doesn't even seem to be sending my login credentials out. I didn't change anything on my end. I can log in just fine with mobile web browser.
I think there are things that could be done now to make this app more user-friendly. the menus and sub-menus are difficult to navigate, and the search function only works if you know the specific jargon to use. I would recommend organizing your menus into clear, specific categories based on the services that are most frequently used. I would further suggest that expanding the search function vocabulary to include synonyms and common misspellings of technical terms.
Besides the payment options, the app is pretty good. I use it on regularly to communicate with the staff, results, renewals and so on most are very responsive. Previously: Appointment Pre-checkin options are now only Google pay or by Debit Credit card with the pay at office option removed. The app gives the option at the pay screen to save and complete later or discard questionnaire answers. The option to save and complete later on the payment screen does not let the select the save for later.
