No longer updates car info. app shows it hasn't worked in 2 months. On Star got it working, but within less than 24 hrs it doesn't work again. Noticed 12 days later and I contacted customer service. Again that got it working. 15 hrs later, not connecting to my vehicle. Total disappointment. I actually enjoyed the app while it was working

I was logged in to mychevy app and mistakenly hit the log out button. Now I'm trying to log back in and it won't logg me back in. I goes to the login page and once I enter my credentials, it brings up a blank page. I have restarted my device, deleted and downloaded the app several times still not working. It's about to start getting cold here in SC and need my app for remote start. GM need to fix these issues immediately!!

So logged out of the app and now I cannot log back in. When I attempt to login it will tell me if I have entered the wrong password, but when I enter the correct one the login system does not redirect back to the app. What's the point of the app if I cannot get back into it. When I login on the internet the system does not do what the app can. So disappointing!!! Please remind what I am paying for again???

**Update 8/28/25*** I can see that nothing much had changed in 4 years. App working ok until a few weeks ago. I had trouble locating it on the map, so I reinstalled it. Now I can't even login. Same goes for the MyGMC app. *** Like the previous comments, I too like the look of the app but I am no longer able to perform any functions like lock/unlock. I've uninstalled and installed still but nothing.

this app used to work then unnecessary changes to the UI were made. remote access price increases along with issues within the app. Now, while my vehicle is on week 3 at the dealer for a new transmission (which is irritating in its own right) I can't even log in to the app to see the location and mileage to get better insight into the delay. I just cancelled my subscription, what a disappointment.

one of the worst apps EVER. I only used it because it was free now, GM switched it, so if I want to do ANYTHING other than schedule service, I need to pay. Dumb. it would be one thing if the features were actually good, but nope, it barely works, so there is exactly zero chance I pay for it to only work half the time

It has been having a lot of problems lately. Most of the time it will not update car's location. Now I tried logging out of the app to see if that would fix it and now it won't let me log back in. I keep putting in my username and password and then it takes me to a blank white screen and never takes me back to the app. Please fix the recent issues.

this is the worst app i've ever used in my life. every time i need to log in it's always a half hour waiting for emails and entering codes and then when i go to schedule service, which is the only thing i use the app for, the schedule service menu does not load. about 5 years ive had this truck and been using this app (or trying to, at least) the same amount of time and it has been consistently terrible. great job GM. at least you make good cars.

I can no longer log into the MyChevrolet app even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app and doing a force stop and clearing the cache. I enter my email, my password, and then I just get a blank white screen that hangs. Can't the coders just get this thing right once and for all and test any updates fully?? The app used to work for me. This app has been so buggy it's terrible! But, alas, I'm stuck with the frustrations of having to use it.

has to be in my notification tray at all times or it won't ever work again without restarting my phone. slow, overall not very good. I can't nickname my saved trip directions, I have to memorize address. it's obvious the people who made the app don't use it. reinstalling fixed the app bugging out. it's still extremely slow. sometimes it takes 5 min to start my car even when I have 5g and my car is home with 5g and connected to my WiFi.

Ever since version 7.6.1 released, I can no longer see the battery charge status for my 2018 Volt under Vehicle Status. It only shows Fuel Level and Oil Life. Checking battery and charging status is the only reason I paid for remote connectivity, and now it's gone. UPDATE 4: Ver 7.15.0 and there's still no way for me to navigate to the Charge Management screen. This app stopped giving me 'charge complete' notifications and I can't get to the screen to re-activate them! Fix this! I pay for this!

App works fine sending signals, gas levels, etc. I won't give it five stars until the app allows my car to auto unlock my profile without having to have the app started up and running prior to entering the car. it's a trusted device, I have the permission set to do it with or without the app running, but I need to start MyChevy before starting the car. also, make an app for WearOs so my Samsung watch can do the same things.

**Edit on 12/13/24....YET AGAIN, more issues with the app not working. It wont even open now. It just keeps spinning...think it may be time to buy a different car. I pay for this app to be able to use it. Yet it doesnt work and I get no refund for the time it doesnt work. I am giving away free money over here! Anyone else want some? 6/23/24 I don't know how many more times they're going to change the app and cause me to keep logging in everytime! Seriously!

Came straight to the reviews as I just got a new car and am using On-Star for the very first time. Was so excited! only to have the same problems as the most recent reviews. I have yet to be able to sign into the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and confirmed the login details and it is stuck on the password page. No loading at all. Sure would be nice to be able to use it. At least I'm only on the free trial and get to see these problems before I pay for anything.

Recently purchased a Brand new 2025 chevy trax, and this worked one time, the trip home. Has never connected to the vehicle since. Yes, we have done all the steps of power down, download, sign in and out, all the things they say that have not fixed anything for anyone. It would seems this is a major problem for OnStar with no effort to fix it at all. They just want your money for a broken service.

Real time data would be nice. Maybe a widget to put on your desktop of your phone so you can monitor its charge without having to open the app? Come on guys!?- your app looks like something developed for Android KitKat. Probably the last time you opened it's APK on Android studio as well. for those having trouble with it if you open the app settings (in the apps menu) and you dump the cache -NOT THE DATA OR YOU'LL HAVE TO LOG IN again) it will resolve most of the issues of the app crashing.

Nice, When It Works. 50% of the time the app does not want to update vehicle status. You can remote start, lock and unlock doors, operate windows just fine and get your calls. However it cannot get fuel load, mileage, oil life, tire pressures and diagnostic information. The key things one may want to have without physically walking to the car. GM app monitors will reply with "Sorry to hear that, have you tried this and that." followed by "please contact us for assistance" in 3-2-1...

It is a decent app for what it allows you to do, but I can not help but think I should have more remote options for my brand new 2025 Malibu RS. I can start, lock, unlock, flash lights and set off the alarm for the vehicle but I cannot set climate controls remotely which I find a bit absurd in a vehicle so new. The basic diagnostic functions are merely adequate, fuel level, oil life etc, though this app could have a lot more functionality. It works, just dont expect too much.

I like the option to remotely start my vehicle from a long distance away. It also has a convenient remote to unlock/lock or turn on/turn off start alarm or flash/stop lights. It has a nice feature where you can look at the mileage, fuel level, oil life, tire pressure, engine air filter life, brake pad life, fuel efficiency, diagnostics, and upcoming maintenance. One feature that would be nice to have is to see engine hours on the app, which can only be done from the dashboard display; please add

For 13 months I've cursed the MyChevrolet app. Slow, unreliable, countless errors, etc. Last week I stood beside my car and used the app to unlock it. The process easily took 3 to 4 minutes. With all my vehicle software updated this week, unlocking took just under one minute tonight. On Android, the MyGMC app is a newer version than MyChevrolet. With that app installed, unlocking the car took less than 10 seconds. MyGMC is version 7.6.0 in the Play Store. I've switched apps!
