So here's my take on the MyDyson™ app. I've tested a bunch of smart home management apps and this one's actually pretty solid, especially if you're all-in on the Dyson brand. The ability to control all your Dyson devices in one place is super convenient. And the cleaning analytics and maintenance guides are nice touches that you don't see in a lot of competitors. That said, the interface can feel a bit dated and unintuitive at times. And I've had a few connectivity issues syncing everything up. But overall, if you're a Dyson loyalist, this is a pretty reliable way to keep your home clean and your gadgets running smoothly.

Description

I’ve been using the MyDyson™ app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control and manage all your Dyson smart home devices, like robot vacuums, cordless vacs, air purifiers, and so on. Pretty solid if you’re into home automation and keeping your place spotless.

Here’s what you can do: You can schedule and track cleaning cycles for your Dyson robot vac, choose different cleaning modes for each room, and even set no-go zones. And there’s also a cool feature that shows you how much dust the robot’s picked up. And the app has step-by-step guides for setting up and maintaining your Dyson devices – that’s been really helpful.

Look, if you’re already in the Dyson ecosystem, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does a pretty good job of keeping all your Dyson gadgets connected and working well together.

Complete trash. It's incredible how a company can charge so much for a device then completely botch the app. This is exactly what Sonos did. I run an IT company,...
