So here's my honest take on MyGun: Artillery assistant. I've tested a bunch of military strategy apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The level of detail and customization is impressive, but it can also be a bit overwhelming at first. Definitely takes some time to get the hang of all the different features. In my experience, the GPS and mapping tools work well, but the UI could use some polishing. Not the most beginner-friendly app, but if you're already into this kind of thing, it's worth a look.

Pros

  • Tons of strategic depth without being too complex
  • Offline maps are a nice touch for when you're out in the field
  • Free to play, don't need to spend money to enjoy the core experience
  • Graphics look great and run smoothly even on older devices
  • Detailed weather and ballistics calculations for accurate targeting

Cons

  • Tutorials could be more beginner-friendly
  • Lots of ads that can get annoying if you don't pay
  • Upgrading and progressing takes a ton of time
  • Interface feels a bit cluttered and overwhelming at first

Description

Been using MyGun: Artillery assistant for a couple months now. It’s basically a military-focused strategy game where you can calculate all sorts of data like topography, weather, and ballistics to help with your artillery strikes. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: You can set up observation posts, firing positions, and track enemy targets on the maps. There’s also online and offline map support, which is pretty cool. And you can use GPS to see your position – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re a military strategy buff, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the tutorials could be better and there are a bunch of ads – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re into that kind of stuff.
