Reviews for MyMoney Pro - Expense & Budget

It's a pretty good app. Only things are I can't find the difference between the paid app and the free version, and it doesn't do the one thing I want it to do which is set up recurring payments for my direct debits etc. you have to do this manually (apparently because developer has decided that although their customers want this feature, it would actually be a bad thing for them (?!) which is a bit of a silly business model in my opinion) overall though, it's slightly better than a calculator.

The app is amazing. I used both the free and pro versions. I'd say it's great and has some very nice features, and it's easy to use because of the widget But just a little note from me that makes this less preferred sometimes, it's all manual. I understand integrating with user accounts and all that is risky and tough, but it would be a nice add-on to just read from transactions and just automatically log, because I prefer this app then most banking apps, it's quicker to record on the go

Excellent app. The only improvement I would like is that it could handle multiple currencies. When you travel, it would be good if you could change to a different currency from a certain date. I realise this would not be easy as it would need to incorporate exchange rates to create overall budgets and balances. Maybe the budgets & balances could just be based on the currencies not on months, years etc.

Does everything I need to record expenses and set budgets, user friendly interface with flexibility. It would be helpful to be able to schedule/ reminder of annual bills. It would also be helpful to have a summary of each account individually. Still better than lots of other apps in it's simplicity, as I don't want linkage to my bank accounts.

I've used this app for years and truly like it. I should've rated it sooner! Two suggestions Please let us record items even if they cost nothing (like free stuff). Also, for the budget, if I set P1,000 for food, P1,000 for rent, and P1,000 for internet, I'd like these amounts listed on the left, with all other spending on the right. This would clarify budget tracking. These are just ideas. I really love this app and would even pay more for it!

This app has been a lifesaver in helping me track my budget and expenses. I’d like to suggest a couple of features that could make it even better; It would be really helpful if expense accounts like credit cards could have billing cycles—for example, tracking expenses from the 3rd of each month. This would make it easier to monitor spending and manage bill payments within each cycle. I'm also having difficulty transferring my records to another phone. Having a way to sync or access my data.

Does the basics and does it intuitively. My ONLY gripes are that the widget shows all the accounts totaled together rather than just one, and it doesn't have automatic backups in case something happens unexpectedly to my phone. For the widget issue alone I may have to find a new app. I'm too ADHD and bad with spending to have my Savings included in my quick "what money is readily available" glance.

This is a nice app for tracking expenses. A couple of things would make this app perfect. 1.) The ability move expenses from one month to another for reoccurring bills. It is time consuming to manually enter every expense I have every month. 2.) The ability to mark an expense as paid. Manually changing the expense to 0, is again time consuming. The app is overall pretty, but I'm better off using Fudget. It's not as pretty, but more suitable for my needs.

So far, this has been a great app. I have all but eliminated my receipts by entering my purchases directly in the app while I'm at the register and my direct deposits from my bank. I have a much clearer picture of where my money is going on a monthly basis, and I see everything in one place down to the penny. I purchased the Pro version to give me more access to expense and income categories.

I have never reviewed anything but this App is fantastic! I've spent 20+ years writing my budget on paper. After about a day or two I had all my info added and made many spending categories. With one click I can analyze my spending and it definitely holds you accountable. 5 stars in my opinion. I purchased the Pro Edition so there are ZERO ADS! Only thing I wish it had was a Credit Card category that would show your income as well as available credit on cards.

This app does everything I need it to. No subscription, no ads. I can create as many accounts and expense categories as I want, making it great for tracking different all of my accounts and analyzing my expenses across them. It's also really easy to add records and modify them if you need to. I would say this the ultimate budgeting app for customizability, which is really what I wanted. And it has no data tracking and sharing as an added bonus.

I've been using the MyMoneyPro app for about a week after testing the free one and think it is worth the small, one time fee. The app is very intuitive and within moments I was adding my accounts and expenses. I like that it us possible to add expenses and set budgets for months ahead of the actual date. I wish there was a function to have recurring expenses add automatically, which is really the only improvement I could suggest. It's still possible to make a custom recurring category for them.

Probably the best budgeting app, especially since it does not link your accounts and keeps things private. Easy to use, budgeting tool is great, totally worth spending the money vs. the free/subscription apps. The only thing I wish it had: when you are budgeting, you can't enter your expected income. I'm still crunching numbers out of the app, vs. I would like to be able to input "My total income for the month is $4,000" so it can show me how much $ I'm over/under as I budget.

Bought the Pro mostly because it is very easy to use and does exactly what I need it to - track my spending and prevent me from spending what I do not have, e.g., deducting future automated payments from the ledger so that I am not tempted to spend more than I will have. Plus, the default color scheme is just awful when viewing on a 65" TV connected using Samsung Dex. The price is more than worth it just to be able to change colors. More category icons would be fantastic. Thanks a bunch!

I tried the unpaid version first, it helps tremendously! Got the pro version after about 6-8 months. MyMoney (Pro in my case) is such an amazing help. It let's me log all of my charges, incomes, you can put multiple accounts to keep track of including cash, checking, savings, even credit cards if you'd like. I tried MANY apps while trying to find something that was actually easy to navigate, kept track of my spending, and even showed me how much I was spending on each category, this one is best!

The FREE app transferred to the PRO easy! It works flawlessly. (FREE)You can do several bank accounts, credit cards, prepaid cards, gift cards, reloadables like Dunkin, etc... Yes I played with the app ALOT! IT IS ACCURATE! The New Year I got the PRO for the perks! Nice upgrade, still easy to use. For the price you are getting a PERFECT Budget Tool! If you need MORE (cloud, email, Google sync, etc) this isn't your app. This is just perfect for keeping a Budget as it's intended. Nice job!

Has most of what I need, but currently no recurring income/expenses option. My workaround is I've taken a screenshot of the analysis at the end of the month to track my monthly total, then changed the dates of recurring expenses (bills, subscriptions, etc.) to the next month. It's much faster than manually typing 10+ entries again, but it means my overall total is no longer accurate. Since I track month to month anyway, it's fine, but keep this in mind if you're thinking of buying

I wish the budget could transfer to next month. For example, if your budget is $100 in fun things per month, and you $125, then next month to have the $25 allocated, so you know you can only spend the next month $75 only. To work around it, I have created every budget as an account, so I can keep up as to whhat I was over. Otherwise, the budget is good.

Easy App. I use it to avoid overspending my bank account and the app does just what I needed it too EXCEPT transfer recurring monthly bills....then I would give it 5 stars! I did devise a work around. Since I don't use the budget function, I put all my recurring monthly expenses as the only budgeted items. Then I transfer my budget to the next month and go down the list and enter as paid on the due dates. Keeps me from spending money earmarked for car insurance on whatever it is I "want".

Love this app. So many great features, yet I wish they let you note whether a charge actually hits your account( checking them off) so you can plan your bills ahead and have up to date records of your accounts without the charge. Also, entries should be able to split into multiple categories, such as an Amazon purchase which could have food items, household items, clothes, etc. Its been a life changer! Try it out
