(This prescription cannot be refilled through MyOchsner at this time.) I had an appt on March 3 with my primary as a new patient at this facility. I went to refill prescriptions of mine from my chart app as it stated the above sentence I have in parentheses. Unable to process the refill process as I had to call a 800# to refill them. I am disappointed and why can't my prescriptions be available to me. I shouldn't have to wait of my upcoming appt to rectify this. Bless y'all's day as mine
Reviews for MyOchsner
← Back to MyOchsnerWas in the hospital at Lafayette General and was super cool to see all my tests results as they came up, most of the time before the dr saw them. So it was cool to have my questions ready to discuss better my treatments. Also some real cool functions like requesting food n coffee from the app as well as speaking to the nurses n case management teams stuff like that all at ur finger tips.. real cool 😎
This app is not only convenient it is easy to use. It gives detailed physicians' notes, appointment reminders with pre check in choice, and even x-rays. I think this app in my opinion is one of the best record applications to date.
App is really good except they don't tell you what the blood values are anymore. The previous version used to give you an idea of what could potentially be the problem with the high and low blood values. Loved how I could contact my nurse while I was in the hospital to ask for things like more ice or new gown. Things that were too minor to bother the nurse with a call bell.
Very helpful app. I am able to keep all my appointments and able to talk to any member of my care team 1 0n 1. Also there's a very convenient feature that notifies them when you've arrived to your appointment and let's you pre check in, which saves soo much time.
This is a very functional app. No fluff and straight to the point. Easy navigation between visits, records, billing, etc. Provides on-line check in, which saves time at the clinic. You can also add access to other family members' accounts.
I believe you all have the right combination this time!
I absolutely love this app... If I forget what the doctor tells me he always sends clinical notes and a summary of what we talked about and what happened during my visit. When I overdue for some blood work or testing it notifies me. I can check in thur the app without having to go to the front desk and wait in a line. There's many other things that you can do from the comfort of your home or wherever your at and at anytime. You can even send a messages to your doctor so you don't have to call.
No problems, I simply love My Ochsner. ❤️. It's so easy to stay in contact with my care team and they responds quickly. They make me feel like I matter, like they really care and they will not stop until I'm satisfied with their handling of my needs. Instead of playing phone tag the problems are resolved a lot faster. Without this app I would be frustrated and feel ignored. 🙃
A great tool to have. I prefer using the app than going through the ever so busy phone lines, grant it you will not be able to do all things via the app. I see people giving this app a lower score because of the medical records has to be requested. I just believe in screenshots and this app allows, so that fixes that issue. Some people are just too critical and never happy. I'm appreciative for the very much FREE APP. Thanks Developers!
Allows for you to read notes after your visit, test results, refill medication and speak to your doctor's! This is a great way to communicate when before it was, call your doctor and never get to see or speak to them unless you have an appt. Now you can also have access to your records! Now you can see them notes the doctor adds to ones file! Plus you can make an appt with providers and specialists. Enable location and you cut out all the hurdles and go straight to see the doctor. Love it!!
I'm not sure enamored with the changes. I have been having difficulty logging in. Even after going through changing password and being told it's okay to login, the red message says my username or password is incorrect. I tried numerous times to not avail. I called tec support and they tried. They said since passkey worked just use passkey. However, when my login page comes up it doesn't give me that option. I have to go back to the text message and use that login site listed there.
Best medical app I've ever used! I've been using their app(s) since they were available for use. I will try anything to help me with my medical needs at least once. This app is a 10 ⭐! I am disabled. And, I'd be lost w/out this app keeping me organized. Messages ⏪⏩ A+, send appointment basic or detailed info sent to my calendar A+, check-in when I get to physician's parking lot (skip check-in and possible line), After Visit Summary A+ (I'm so very forgetful), Records sharing A+, make appt's+++.
I absolutely LOVE this app! You get to see all your results exactly how they are and it makes easy to understand you see your levels, you see what's low, what's high and where you're at and I just love it all the way around you can check in, confirm appointments, you can even set your phone to let them know that you're there simply from your location, can put things on your calendar etc. I'm always getting my test result updates. I just cannot say enough good things about this app!
Over all helps me keep track of upcoming appointments. Easy enough to navigate through for meds information. But don't bother with the fill/refill prescriptions if you know you have refills. Just contact your pharmacy instead. Quicker, easier. Using this app takes days or even up to a week to get meds refilled. To many steps that the app has to go through to get said refills, first provider, then insurance then pharmacy. Just call in refills to pharmacy.
I love this app! Although the medical jargon and Google aren't the best way to decipher test results, it's so much better than waiting and waiting for an appointment to find answers. Only con I experienced is an appointment request sent 3 times over 2 months and the scheduling department says it never came through but it appears on my portal.
I absolutely love this ability to check on upcoming appointments and previous tests results that are readily available ( much sooner than next appointment with doctor). I also love being able to message the doctor's office .... in my own words and I'm able to retrieve said message when /if needed. My memory is declining with age so there is peace of mind knowing that records, imperative to my treatment, are under the ' Ochsner Umbrella '.
App seems to work pretty well with a couple of issues. #1 While the app shows your test results quickly - there is no way to download the results. One has to submit a records request to receive one's clinical info, test results, etc. #2 Generating a records request option in the app is easy - but a post request msg is rec'd saying there's no access to the requested records. I called Medical Records and was told MyOshner app records requests are not received in Medical Records. Makes no sense.
This app has been very helpful and relevant for me. It's the easiest and quickest way to stay in contact with all of your doctors or to schedule appointments. As soon as the results are in for whatever test your doctor ordered, x-rays, lab work, ultrasounds etc., they are posted in your chart from this app. In some instances the individual finds out before the doctor does. It's been very informative and helpful.
I love this app! I have easy access to all my relevant medical I formation, test results from lab work, exrays, and I can even see the actual scans themselves! I also receive any and all communication from my doctor through this app like setting up appointments and medication refills. There is only one feature that is missing that was available on your website and that is a way for me to message my doctor directly with any general medical questions so that I don't have to bother with phone calls
