So here's my honest take on MyTransit NYC Subway & Bus MTA. I've tried a bunch of transit apps and this one's easily the best for New York. It's got all the features you need - maps, schedules, real-time updates - and the information is super accurate. I like that it covers the subway, buses, LIRR, and Metro-North all in one app. The interface could be a bit more polished, but it gets the job done. If you're in NYC a lot, this is the transit app I'd recommend.

Description

Been using the MyTransit NYC Subway & Bus MTA app for a couple months now. It’s basically the best transit app for getting around New York City. You’ve got all the essential features – subway maps, bus schedules, real-time arrival times, and service alerts. There’s also trip planning and directions, which is super handy. And the subway section is probably the highlight – you can see exactly when the next trains are coming. And the bus tracker is clutch too, especially for those long waits at the stop. Look, if you’re living in or visiting NYC, this app is a must-have. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it’s the most reliable way to navigate the MTA.

love the fact that when you arrive at any bus stop the app automatically picks up all the bus routes and gives you your destination in real time.... Gotta luv...
