I was enjoying this app very much until the scan item option stopped working, it gives me an error "the data for the scan option to work has not been downloaded to this device". I have the latest version of the app, and I can't find any updates....
It is good for when I loose my papers it keeps up with what I have left on my card and what I had spent.I don't have to worry about bringing paperwork to my appointments anymore or worrying about what I need bc it tells you on the app and you can upload it before hand.it tells you what your appointment is for. It's very convenient however I use to could schedule and reschedule appointments with ease from the app bc they never answer the phone in the wic depo but no it won't work anymore to resch
I am referred by local wic to download app. Hesitant at first due to am reading login concerns. Went ahead to download and install to give it a try. I'm glad I have not encountered any login issues. So far enjoying the app and the convenience it provides to easily upload documents and book appointments.
App does not work. When trying to login to my existing account from the previous wic app (benefit), it tells me "unexpected error." Even when trying to reset password, it does not allow you to and brings up the same page "unexpected error".
I have tried this app each time I receive a new foster child hoping they fix it, Texas. Unfortunately I can never get logged it. Doesnt matter the phone. It states there is a profile for me but doesnt recognize my phone number or email to change anything. WiC office can't help. Also in a section where I need to put my birth date it only has 3 slots and nothing can be typed. It is a government program, glitchy, poorly run and poorly funded. Dont expect much from this.
I like how this version shows appointments. However, the shopping guide is trash. The pink app showed pictures of the exact items allowed for each store to guarantee consumers were able to shop with confidence. That app not only fails to do that, it does not even break it down to what brands are available at the store I'm at. Edit: The app has improved the shopping guide to better assist with the store you are shopping at, but they STILL fail to attach pictures to the item description.
Thank you! I got a response giving me help with the app problem I was having, unfortunately that did not help but I DID notice changing language was the issue. Since I signed up on WIC program in person and been using english in person, on paperwork and the app but when I switched in the app to Spanish everything was shown. I'm not sure why it only works in Spanish but I understand it so it's fine, thank you tho! Now I can see every benefit I have
this app is very useful I don't even have to call and wait on the phone for an hour to set an appointment I'll just go in the app and I can set an appointment it's so easy I love being able to scan and go items at the store to see if they are part of WIC I love that I can check my balance on the app it is really made life a lot easier
The app is great for getting the information you need, but it does not allow me to reschedule my appointments. Which wouldn't be a problem if calling the number wouldn't say things like you can schedule using the app. It's very misleading. Sitting on hold being told you can do something only to find out you cannot is annoying.
I like this app better than the previous two. This shows appointments, balance and shopping guide all in one. I do feel it can use improvements. For instance, under shopping guide, real pictures of items that can be purchased would be more helpful. All in all, setup was easy, you use your previous wic shopper login.
