Been using Nagish: Caption Your Calls for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you real-time captions for phone calls and in-person conversations. Pretty solid if you’re deaf or hard of hearing.

Here’s what you do: you can make calls and it’ll automatically generate captions so you can follow along. There’s also a live captions mode for noisy situations like lectures or doctor appointments. Took me a while to figure that one out but it’s super useful.

Look, if you need help hearing, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the captions can be a bit off – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re looking for an easy way to stay connected without relying on interpreters or transcribers.

So here's my honest take on Nagish: Caption Your Calls. I've tested a bunch of accessibility apps and this one's pretty solid. The real-time captions work well and it's great that it's free to use. The live mode is a killer feature in my opinion, since it opens up so many situations where you can stay engaged. Sure, the accuracy isn't 100% but it's still way better than nothing. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you need help hearing.

Love this app, old phone died and had to buy a new phone. Naglish no longer would receive incoming calls. Working with Support we determined it was the simm card....
