I've tested a bunch of AI art and photo editing apps, and Nano Banana - GoArt is one of the better ones I've come across. The AI is pretty impressive, and I like how you can play around with different styles and filters. It's not as polished as some of the premium apps, but for a free tool it's really solid. The only downsides are that the AI can be inconsistent at times, and the free version has some annoying ads. But if you're looking for a fun way to turn your photos into anime art, this is a great option.

Pros

  • Tons of cool filters and styles to choose from
  • Cartoonize your photos with one click
  • Generates high-quality anime-inspired art

  • Easy to use even if you're not an art pro

Cons

  • The AI can be hit or miss sometimes
  • Ads can get annoying if you don't pay
  • Limited customization options in free version
  • Doesn't work as well for more complex illustrations

Description

Been using Nano Banana AI Image – GoArt for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you turn your photos into cool anime-style artwork using AI. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can either upload a photo or type in a text prompt, and the app will generate a funky anime-inspired image for you. There’s also a cool feature where you can cartoonize your photos in one click. And the Japanese Anime Filter – that one’s great for turning regular pics into stunning anime portraits.

Look, if you’re into AI art and creative photo editing, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the AI can mess up sometimes and the ads can get annoying. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out.

Pro effects are a rip off, 7 coins for each effect... OK, not a lot but... they're no longer yours when you load another picture. Wt... Just charge a one-off...

Got the pro subscription, got totally scammed. There's not much more you can do over the no subscription. I still ended up using ChatGPT and Meta AI more. Some of...

Very poor reaction on first use. I think it's worth paying for the system pro The situation will change. But that is not what is required.
