So here's my honest take on Navigation Pro: Maps on Watch. I've tested a bunch of navigation apps for smartwatches and this one's pretty good. The core functionality works really well - being able to see the maps and get voice directions right on my wrist is super convenient. And the customization options are a nice touch too. That said, it's not flawless - the voice can cut out occasionally and the UI takes some getting used to. But if you're looking for a reliable way to use Google Maps on your Samsung watch, this is one of the better options out there.

Description

Been using Navigation Pro: Maps on Watch for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you see Google Maps navigation on your smartwatch. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do – you connect it to the main Navigation Pro app on your phone, and then you can get turn-by-turn directions, voice navigation, even a speedometer right on your watch. There’s also a bunch of customization options like changing the vibration patterns and picking different themes. Took me a while to figure some of that out, but it’s a nice set of features.

Look, if you use Google Maps a lot and have a Samsung watch, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the voice can be a little glitchy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to keep an eye on your route without always pulling out your phone.

I'd like to give 5 stars, but feel it needs a little more refinement, but for what it costs, it is MORE than worth it. I'd recommend it 100%. So...

The watch app keeps telling me to enable notifications, which I have already done. It also keeps disconnecting from the phone. I would love to be able to use this...
