Used the free version for a while and loved it. I just purchased the paid version, everything works except the logo. Followed the procedure and it still doesn't display the logos. Great swift assistance from the devloper and helped resolved the issue
Reviews for NavRadio+
← Back to NavRadio+I have a Px5 Running Android 9. Works great! Small learning curve Pros: Customization! Easy install Works with no modification Not really cons: Could use some tweaks, the direct dial does not work for me "." so when i put 107.9 I have to put 10790. No big deal I can work with that Needs a large widget like 2x4 or 4x4 All in All, this is a great app and not bad for the price! I hope there will be more updates to come or improvements for the current version. Either way it get 5 stars from me as I been searching for a long time for a clean radio app. Thanks for this!!!!!!
I bought this after using the free app. I am extremely happy with this. It was working immediately and is so much better than the original app that came with my 2018 px5 XTRONS head unit. The only issue that I had was with the logos, and a almost immediate response from support got me into the XTRONS factory settings where I could change the radio area to American. Problem solved. Glad someone else recommended this. 100% happy.
Replacing the Radio app which came with my Android Radio, it is so much better! You can configure its appearance matching with your ambient lights of your car, the theme of your android car launcher etc. It works well, and offers much better look and feel then the previous app which was installed before.
Excellent app, perfect radio tuner for my needs! Does everything I want. Only slight issue, is the volume integration. When running google maps for instance, during a navigation voice command ("turn left" etc), the NavRadio volume isnt reduced, which makes it hard to hear the directions. My other music apps, or the standard radio app, are either muted or reduced so you can hear the directions, but this system integration doesnt seem to work with NavRadio. Any ideas? Or is this something that isnt implemented? Thanks
Have installed this app and have been using if for past 2-3 months it's great! It has been very simple and intuitive to set up with a lot of customisation. I installed my own radio logos after using the auto assigned for initial set up. Two of the 5 custom ones would show for 3-4 seconds then swap back to low res app default ones with with white backgrounds. I seem to have fixed this by finding a setting to turn off the automatically assigned logos.
Works with Vanku Android 10 Head Unit (PX6) and is much better than the original radio app. I like the screen overlay showing logos and station info when changing stations, plus it can send info to other car launchers to show station info. Some of the station logos could use updating, but it is easy enough to add your own. Also this developer seems nicer than the other head unit radio developer (no attacking the reviewers lol)
Got fed up with my android head unit always switching to the radio screen at start up. This apps great has although the radio will start playing when starting the car it stays on the home screen. It also doesn't start playing if you where last using Bluetooth or music payback. Before it would always default to the radio. Also good to have station Logos and being able to customise the colour scheme. 5 star app.
Great app, but my head unit is offline most of the time, so I will get a cannot verify license error that shuts the app down at the most inconvenient times. Is there way to make the license available locally so I don't have to connect to the Internet every time this happens?
Awesome app! Been using it everyday since I bought it, on a PX5 unit. I searched for a long time for an app that would work as a real FM/AM radio, not as an online one. Found it here! Having the station logos and not being stuck on 18presets (like on the original radio app) makes it worth to me! Only thing I only like to see implemented in the future is a ON/OFF button on the widget, like on the original app - at the moment we have to open the app and then return to the homepage to use the widget. Thank you for all the hard work you have put into this!!
can you fix this app? Every time it opens in my truck it's trying to change the station logo. it's so annoying because I have to hit cancel every time! can you please fix this?
i let the app check the licence and it vertified. even if i turn wifi off completley on radio i get notification for licence in 2-3weeks.. when i reconnect the car it vertifies again. this is relevant to my previous review
Wanted to have something better for my T7862 Android head unit (that has navigation wheel) for Honda Accord 7. Compared to the stock radio it's like replacing a cassette radio Spotify. UI layout is better, more easy to read while driving. Stations have logos. Lots of settings. They waiting (couple of months ago I tried the free one and it didn't work) was worth it because the first time a tried was over a year ago. If only I could change the main radio shortcut on main UI to this one, but this is some stupid limitation of the UNIT UI not the radio app. So keep up the good work. (Y)
Great app, works smoothly with PX5 Head Unit. Integration with launchers as Agama is not perfect, but is working. Auto launching after reboot sometimes works, sometimes not, please fix it. Also fix the dot thing when manually adding a frequency, is annoying. Update: Can you please update to be able to map the app to physical Radio button on my head unit? I could not find it on the list.
The radio functionality is fine. It's great to be able to select favorites--much better than stock radio that came with my Android head unit. The logos that are associated with stations are not always correct. I delete them, but they keep coming back—I can't get rid of them. Not all station logos show up on their database. I went online and pulled some off the net, saving them as JPEG files. The show up in the browser, but when selected and "saved," they don't show up. Frustrating.
ever since updating, FM radio always frozen on last station on startup. I have to restart. any ideas. Ekiy T7. I think it happened after replacing default icon option
Exactly what I was looking for. I was not impressed with the stock radio app on my Daisata head unit. Just like any other program, you just need to play around with it to become familiar with it. Very quick support when having problems getting local station logos. Issue was a setting on my head unit and not the app at all.
Fantastic App! Much much better than default that came with my unit. Very customizable, and many features. I like that all my stations are on one page vs. having to do FM1, FM2, etc. Autoscan does what it's supposed to do; scans stations and adds them to the list. Developer is very responsive and helpful. Be sure to try the free version on your unit before you purchase, since not all units are compatible.
Installed on an Atoto S8 standard and it is working perfectly. I have been looking for a replacement for the stock radio app for my head unit as that was the only thing I didn't like about it. Now that I have NavRadio+ installed I couldn't be happier. The reception is much better and the interface is clean and easy to read. The customization is incredible. The only negative that I see is in the description of the compatatible chipsets were a little confusing. Maybe listing compatible units.
I am extremely happy with the app and it functions and has features miles ahead of the factory installed radio app on my Android head unit. The support has been great and honest. There are so many forks of Android it is impossible for every version to be without some glitches so make sure your head unit is compatible. I don't know if I'd want a unit that wasn't compatible. Look the developer up and see how involved they are with support. You don't get that in the modern world.
