Almost one year and still not as good as before. Judging from 99% of the reviews it's not getting any better, but they appreciate everyones comments to better serve us. Thngs in different spots. If you click to pay on your mortgage, it goes to some Home squad screen that has nothing to do with payments. You have to click on payments in another area and even there the option for external banking is no longer there and useless and can't even add a custom date to pay unless you go to Homeserve.

There's this dropdown initially and its really unclear what it exactly pertains to. You're guessing your way through the app. It's 2025 and a banking app should not be this un-user friendly. It's really horrible. Then there's alerts or messages. It says the app needs an update and to go to the play store. Then there's no update option. Only an "open" the app option which suggests it doesn't need updating.
App shuts down when I try to make a deposit. This has been happening for a few days now. I have multiple deposits to make and can not complete the transactions. Also, the transfer options are still counterintuitive. Starting with where you're moving money to instead of which account you are moving money from is not the correct order. It makes more sense to select where the money currently is and then where you want to move it to.
Great app. It's been working 100% of the time since my review of 2/2022. You can manage all your accounts,transfer money from one account to another, keep track of your Visa bill and loans,and make payments when you want to. It very secure when you set it to open with your finger print or face,so if you loose your phone, nobody but you can access your accounts. It can be set to receive automatic deposits from annuities, and Social Security monthly payments . it saves time and money.
Utilities, phone, car payments, insurance, etc. I always make it a point to pay all my bills either early or exactly on time, but for some reason, my external account that I had linked to my Navy Federal account just randomly got unlinked at some point which caused me to unknowingly miss this month's car payment which should have been automatically drafted as scheduled. Extremely infuriating that I now have to go through the process of re-linking the account just to get hit with a late fee.
It has too many issues. I tried to submit a dispute on a transaction and after filling out the forms it asked me to upload evidence. I try to upload the file only to get an error and lose all my progress on the form. It did this twice in a row, and you can't autofill. You have to do the forms every time you encounter an error. A lot of the features will have frequent issues where it just says currently unavailable try again later when you try doing something. This app is awful.
The app is a joke. One thing you can almost always count on is this app doesn't work as intended late at night or on weekends. If you're doing maintenance or upgrades then add a notice. It takes 30 seconds, and, it's free. No valid excuses for the frequent outages. And there are times when for instance you are awaiting a refund and the refund shows in the pending transactions but then disappears for upwards of 5 days as if it never existed. Why?
Works pretty good, able to manage most of my banking from the app reliably. However the balances and pending charges tend to delay and disagree until the statement actually posts. Pretty annoying to not have any real idea of what is currently charged to the credit card. I never have a rolling balance either so its not interest related, just delays in the charges showing on the current balance or pending.
Just go to the bank in person. Same issues under different word play. general service error. Doesn't help when it works well outside of the United States and has errors like Madden the moment you return state side. Stop playing with "updating." You broke what was not needed to be fixed. Shut down this app and fix what you are doing, then re-release. simplify your work coding. Start from the basics again.
Was once good. Till they removed the pay calendar. Look, I like being able to view my credit score from the menu of app, but I still don't know why you guys got rid of the Pay Calendar. Why? I'd have rated it higher if it was still there, I'd at least would be happy to know when I get paid on specific dates on the calendar which I thought it was neat.
1. I can't see my transactions at all right now due to error - "We're having trouble displaying your information right now. Please try again." 2. App does not do a running tally / balance correctly on ALL transactions. 3. Issues with app saying my account is overdrawn for a transfer and it's really not overdrawn at all due to the time I sent the transfer. Please fix asap. Thx :)
Over a month later & the update is STILL UNBEARABLE. It's no longer user friendly and uneccesssry changes were made. I never had an issue with putting money on my credit card that would put it over the min/max payment before. It would just turn the overpayment into credit. The calander was removed And I have no option to remember my device to login. The reply to every review is exactly the same; proving to us all that there is no care to provide a plan of action.
I've had this app rated as 1*, should've changed to a 3* a couple yrs ago, but it's still a 1* after newest update. Literally after years of having things the same way, they flipped everything around, transfer process is now backwards so I'm moving stuff to the wrong accounts. My CC payment was 1 day late and when signing in I was met with a very aggressive, giant red lettered paragraph saying "this is an attempt to collect a debt" at the very top of the screen. Bad experience and it's laggy.
Constant freezing, it never let's me log in, just states that "an unexpected error has occurred, we cannot display your information, please try again later. I cant access anything. Ever since the new update, the app is garbage! 0 stars if I could. Customer support is no help either, they just tell you to wait for the servers to reopen or go to a main branch, which is 20 miles away from my location.
After the most recent update, everything looks like trash and is different. Forced 2-step verification (I've been avoiding it forever 🤬), can't see accounts during transfer, not showing pending deposits, doesn't remember access number to login, etc. If it's not broken, DON'T BREAK IT! And for the love of all things holy, give us a damn choice on 2-step verification!!
The app update is NOT good at all. When I first updated the app it wasn't showing a payment that I scheduled. It took a few days for that to show. I can't find the statements for my checking/savings. My auto loan is only showing a few months from this year and a few months from last year. I can't use my pin number to sign in anymore. I have to use my username and password every single time. Also it is requiring a two-step-verification every single time. I am not able to set up biometrics.
Nothing but issues with the app lately more so after the changed everything up a few months ago and completely ignored their users on what we wanted. I get "generic error", "authentication failed", or random "scheduled maintenance" messaged. When I need the app I can't rely on it. Unfortunately there's no Navy Federal where I'm from so I might end up switching credit unions
Ive used this app without much issue for a few years now, but within the last week it has been nothing but trouble. I have been unable to sign in using the app due to either an "authentication failure" or technical issues. It's extremely frustrating, not to mention somewhat stressful, to not have quick access to my account information because of ridiculous issues such as these.
Like many others have stated, I don't like the new updates at all. Every day for the past 3 days, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app bc I cannot log in. It just says "Authentication Failed" and I cannot log in. I've been a customer for years, and I've never had these types of problems with the app. The older version was much more user-friendly, and it actually worked.
Unable to sign in for several days. This is specific to the mobile app. Fully updated device and app. I am able to sign in fine using the same password in the browser.
