Reviews for NBA: Live Games & Scores

← Back to NBA: Live Games & Scores

Would have given more stars, but they only partner with a handful of TV providers. Therefore, I'm unable to watch games via the app. Pretty lame. I have NBA tv through my cable provider and should therefore be able to watch through the app if the app were a legit platform. Nothing like a multi billion dollar league cutting corners with their tech. Get with the times already!

I disabled autoplay for videos, but every time I want to do something as simple as look at a box score, the videos still autoplay regardless of whether I'm on wifi or not. An hour after a game has ended, box scores will show stats as if it's halfway through the second quarter. I never write negative reviews but I'm just super disappointed this year. I hate the espn app but I find myself using that more at least for checking box scores. I dunno maybe I'm crazy.

Much worse app than last year. When streaming to my TV captions covering the score are forced on and volume on the TV is forced to 100%. If I want to watch a YouTube video on my phone while a game is on commercial it pauses the video on my TV, which it did not do last year. There's also no way to scroll forward to catch back up which casting to the TV. If you can pull the games up from your laptop you'll probably have a better experience than this garbage. Utterly disappointed.

I was charged in 3 Separate occasions for the league pass and still it wouldn't even let me watch the Lakers vs Heat game(following Heat) on 12-28-2022. It literally says that I have league pass and in my subscription but still refuses to allow me to watch a game no matter how many times I restart the app, clear cache, redownload, sign out sign in, nothing works. It charged me without giving me access to the game or games and I still haven't been refunded. Also, there's no phone customer serv

Needs a desperate update. Can be 10 min behind live and it still freezes and looks super blocky. Most un smooth video ever on top of it. Looks like it skips 2-3 frames every second. Doesn't matter if you have full bars with the best reception available. If you don't have wifi this app is just a terrible time to use. Changed to 1 star from 2. It's so bad. Every time I go back to it, it gets worse. I didn't think it was possible.

I'd give a zero if I could, logs me out without me doing so, streams stop halfway through a game with some type of error, sometimes can't get the stream you're looking for (get an alternate stream rather than the one you're wanting to watch). Considering the cost for a full season, I'd expect this to be better than it is. I'm actually very surprised this has an overall rating of 4.5 at the time of writing.

This is a pretty bad app. Plain and simple. Horrid design, sometimes unusable. I'll start to stream a game and for some reason no matter what stream I select it'll be a camera angle solely focused on one player. So I can't see anything else that's going on in the game. And to make matters worse the website is unusable. I'm getting a "request failed" every time I try to log in. This is what I paid $100 dollars for? Changed review from 2 to 1 star because I've been trying to login for 30 mins now.

Won't stream a game without pausing every few seconds. Hate all the ads that have been added. If you click to watch a game you have to watch a 30 second app. If you want to change which recording you watch, you have to watch another ad. You loose your place in a game if you have to pause and turn your screen off. At least the app last year worked. Update: still doesn't stream on my chromecast. Freezes every few seconds. I have the latest version of the app and the newest chromecast. Unbelievabl

The app used to be a lot better 2 or 3 years ago. You didn't have to pay for a League Pass subscription in order to watch Game Recaps or Highlight videos. I understand needing one to watch a Game Replay, but not the highlights. The only videos that you are able to watch are like TikTok style videos to tap through. So, if that is ok with you, be my guest. I would not recommend this app if you are just wanting highlights. Just go to YouTube or ESPN for that.

I'm subscribed through DirecTV but I'm unable to watch games on app. I have been on technical support with DirecTV for 3 days we've tried everything. I contacted NBA support and all y'all can say is, "it's a DirecTV issue". After reading all of the reviews I doubt its DirecTV problem, seems as though its a NBA app problem that needs to be corrected immediately!! Your new app sucks and I'm very disappointed that I'm paying $250 for a service I can't use.

Get with the times! Can't watch a game from the beginning without hitting the rewind button 900 times. Telling me out of market games are being broadcast in my market. Can't watch on youtube tv because i bought through the app 2 years ago. Everything about this app is rediculous. Let's go NFL. They figured all this out and the best experience by far. Really soured on the NBA part few years, this app didn't help. Moving on.

Personally I cannot recommend NBA League Pass. There are A LOT of games I can't watch for at least 3 days. Due to being broadcasted in my area. I do not have any TV providers. Even when I was traveling, not in my area, I still could not watch my games for the same reason. The functionality & design of the app is glitchy. Freezes, crashes & too many other problems to list here.

Just b/c the app says viewable on league pass, doesn't make it so. Be careful before purchasing, you may not be able to follow your team. It's one thing if the app says the game is on ESPN or TNT. That content is readily available. Some content, though listed as watchable thru the app, will be restricted by local carriers. The NBA gives you their version of customer service by allowing their subscribers to watch the game 3 days after. Woohoo!

I don't know what's wrong with this app but it needs to be fixed asap. You can't browse on it for more than a minute without it freezing up and crashing.. you'd be lucky to check 2 different box scores before it crashes and you have to close it out and try all over again.. I know a lot goes into this app maybe the server it's on just can't handle everything that goes into it

Paid for the 1 year subscription and I can't even get anything to load after starting the app, when on mobile data. Edit after dev comment: Your strategy of uninstalling and reinstalling works great. Problem is, I have had to do this every single day. I have now uninstalled and reinstalled this app every morning for 4 days and if I don't do that, it'll just keep loading and loading and loading without going anywhere. This app used to work effortlessly a month ago.

Absolutely awful. Any way you put it. Look at all the 1 star reviews and expect that form of service. You are paying 300 bucks or 20-something dollars a month to shoot yourself in the foot over-and-over again while you try and understand there baseless and confusing content platform. Just buy every cable station I guess and watch it that way.

Whether you're a casual viewer or a hardcore fan, this app gives you everything you need in one place live scores, highlights, full game replays, news, and indepth stats. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and the customization options let you follow your favorite teams and players effortlessly. The real game changer is NBA League Pass integration. You can stream games live or watch them later with condensed replays, multi game views, and different camera angles. It truly enhances ho

We are on our 3rd year subscribing and using this app. Doesn't matter what we try to watch a game on, computer, TV, Tablet, it glitches the entire game jumping all over. It's so frustrating and infuriating. The glitching makes it so hard to see what happened. This is the most expensive subscription we have and by far the lowest in quality and reliability!!! Unfortunately if we want to watch the game we don't have any other option so we are just screwed.

I have this app so that I can watch NBA Team Pass to watch Denver Nuggets games. The app works good on my Android phone. However, I have a Roku device on 3 of my tv sets and here is where the problem occurs. The game on 10/24/22, would not play. On the following game, I could only watch the Lakers feed and not the Nuggets announcers. Further, I am unable to filter games by team like I was able to do last year. If I pause the game and then resume later, I have to start at the beginning.

Picture quality... solid. But trying to skip forward or backward makes me want to throw my phone. It's even worse on the TV app where I can't slide my finger hours ahead if I just want to check out the 4th quarter of a game. Finding games to watch, easy. Choices of broadcasts, abundant. But doing anything other than pressing play and letting the game run is infuriating. It's baffling how far behind things like YouTube and Netflix this is.
