Description
Been using the NBC 4 New York: News & Weather app for a couple months now. It’s basically a local news and weather app that keeps you up to date on what’s happening in the NYC area. Pretty solid if you’re into staying on top of the latest happenings.
Here’s what you can do – there’s a section for breaking news alerts that’ll notify you as soon as big stories drop. And the weather forecasts are really useful, especially the radar map. You can even customize the weather info to show exactly what you care about.
Look, if you live in or around New York City, you’ll probably find this app helpful. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying sometimes – but overall it does a good job of keeping you informed. Worth checking out if you want a quick way to get your local news and weather.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on the NBC 4 New York app. I've used a bunch of news and weather apps, and this one stacks up pretty well. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and the coverage of local stories is comprehensive. The weather forecasts are also reliable - I've found them to be pretty accurate compared to other apps. That said, the frequent ad interruptions can get old after a while. And the app doesn't have a ton of extra features beyond the basics. But if you just want a simple way to stay up-to-date on what's happening in NYC, this is a solid option.
