Auto-play video popups that take 12 clicks to close, obnoxious AI ads

pop up videos are annoying. Just let me read.

My only complaint is that occasionally, the morning or evening news for that day isn't uploaded.

this thing of running all the ads and reading the news on the right is just not working. I'll just go to another source. have watched NBC for years but I'm not doing this new format.

This app doesn't give up to the minute news. The same stories sit at the top of the main page all day. Big stories happen but are buried below the fold. News story titles use biased wording. App is not customizable to show only categories that are of interest to me. Does not give balance news. Very biased.

I really like the constantly updated news on the widget itself. .... SUGGESTION: The ability to remove pictures on the widget would allow for more of the headlines to be visible on the widget. Therefore, those with poor vision can view more of the headline with font size and zoom features maximized.

This has always been my go to news station. I get breaking news notifications. The app is free, unlike other news stations.

page is constantly freezing when I open a news story...terrible just like Peacock. I don't know what's wrong with NBC and thier entities!

l uninstalled the NBC News app and then installed it again because it was screwing up my phone every time l tried to read an article. lt would freeze my screen and/or open up other applications. Very glitchy, maybe infected with a virus. The 2nd installation was even worse. And they eliminated the Discover section at the bottom.

The news content is fine, but the app constantly crashes. I can't get through one article without the app closing. Or it will "update" and send me to the home page while I'm reading. Also, none of the videos will ever work. For these reasons, I may need to delete the app and just read the website. Disappointed.

The new format is terrible. I lost local news and sports and have no control over the news content that I want to see. It is no longer customizable.

Notifications rarely open the correct article. Links automatically open in Chrome, which is not how I have my system set up. Ignores custom OS settings.

Unplugging from cell phone distractions is a big movement. You should offer much more fine grained control over notifications, otherwise I'm forced to turn it all off. (ex breaking news vs morning rundown)

Most of the content are great. However somtimes the title of a report is misleading, inaccurate, or even contradictory to the story. As to the content of the news/report, the reporter doesn't seem to tell the whole story.

The newest update is swamped with ads bigger than the stories. local news has gone missing again. ads shift stories around at random as they load. most ads are scams I don't want to risk accidentally touching. must uninstall this app.

Trash! Recent upload turned your whole app into something that resembles the click bait adds after your "articles" end. One headline rolles into the next category without separation or distinction. Seriously you need to add Dark Mode!

You took a nice layout and changed it to ads. You allowed local information to be on the page, and now that is gone. It’s a chaotic mess that distracts from the original purpose it was made for. If it doesn't change back to the original, I will find my news somewhere else.

The new update is horrible. The home page takes forever to load now and the new and very frequent ads get in the way. It is now harder to find the news stories you want to read. They have also added a pop up window for the news now video that follows as you scroll. It is very annoying and takes several taps to get rid of it. This app is not as user-friendly as it used to be. Harder to read and harder to scroll through. Not my favorite anymore.
