Been using the NBC4 Washington: News, Weather app for a couple months now. It’s basically a one-stop-shop for all your local news and weather needs in the DC metro area. Pretty solid app if you’re into staying on top of what’s going on in and around the nation’s capital.
Here’s what you can do: you can check the latest news stories, watch live news streams, and get super accurate weather forecasts and alerts from the Storm Team4 weather crew. And there’s also a handy weather home screen where you can customize the modules and track storms in your neighborhood. And the location hub lets you add your favorite spots to get tailored weather reports – took me a while to figure that out but it’s really useful.
Look, if you live in the DC, Maryland or Northern Virginia area, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can be a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of keeping you informed on what’s happening around you. Worth checking out if you want a reliable local news and weather source.
