Here’s what you can do: you can check the latest news stories, watch live news streams, and get super accurate weather forecasts and alerts from the Storm Team4 weather crew. And there’s also a handy weather home screen where you can customize the modules and track storms in your neighborhood. And the location hub lets you add your favorite spots to get tailored weather reports – took me a while to figure that out but it’s really useful.
Look, if you live in the DC, Maryland or Northern Virginia area, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can be a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of keeping you informed on what’s happening around you. Worth checking out if you want a reliable local news and weather source.

The weather features are the standout - the live radar and customizable home screen are really handy. And the news coverage is comprehensive too, with a good mix of top stories and hyper-local content. In my experience, the push alerts are reliable for major breaking news. The main downside is the ads, which can get intrusive, but that's typical for a free app. If you don't mind that, I'd say it's worth downloading, especially if you're in the DC area and want a one-stop shop for local info.
