Been using Nerva: IBS & Gut Hypnotherapy for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that uses a proven psychological approach called gut-directed hypnotherapy to help manage your IBS symptoms. Pretty solid app if you struggle with IBS.
Here’s what you do: you go through a 6-week program of audio-based hypnosis sessions that are designed to ‘fix’ the miscommunication between your gut and brain. There’s also a journaling feature which is pretty cool. And you can track your progress over time – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’ve got IBS, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the hypnosis sessions can get a bit boring after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
