Been using Nest for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your smart home devices like thermostats and cameras. Pretty solid app if you’re into home automation and security.

Here’s what you do: You can adjust the temperature on your Nest thermostat, see what your Nest cameras are seeing, and arm/disarm your Nest Secure alarm system. There’s also notifications if something trips your Nest Protect – that’s handy. And the app uses your phone’s location to automatically do things like turn off the heat when you leave.

Look, if you’ve got a Nest setup at home, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to control your Nest devices.

So here's my honest take on Nest. I've tested a bunch of home automation apps and this one's pretty solid. The best part is how it ties everything together - thermostat, cameras, alarm - into one simple app. And makes it a lot easier to manage your Nest stuff. That said, the app can be a little buggy at times and the learning curve isn't the smoothest. But if you don't mind tinkering a bit, Nest is a pretty good option.
