I tried to use the app today and got the dreaded "you have landed on a page that no longer exists" message. I finally was able to get logged in after clearing my cache. Seems like the developers could provide a more helpful message to app users on how to fix this issue if they can't prevent it from happening altogether. Other than the frustration of having to figure out how to get into the app, the app is nicely done.
Reviews for NetBenefits – Fidelity at Work
The camera feature is awful. It makes me want to cry. When I try to take a photo of a check to transfer, it doesn't perform intuitively. I tap the camera button amd it doesn't immediately snap a photo.... So I stand there like a fool, waiting for it to decide to capture an image. Then I get an error. I've tried this more than 10 times and now am submitting it through the mail. How can I trust a company with my money when the digital experience. Is that bad?
Terrible phone app! Not intuitive to use and some actions require the web server instead of in the app and it's so tiny you can't read it or select options with your finger. cannot see your Roth and pre-tax accounts separately, except when looking at your statement. not easy to figure out how to designate part of your future payments to go into either your Roth or pre-tax account. also does not let you specify an exact amount from your paycheck and instead have to use a percentage.
Absolutely worthless app. Constantly says "information is not available right now," then logs you all the way out of the app (which, if you have 2FA on, is a giant pain in the neck) Meanwhile, if I just go to the website, the information is available and it works fine. This "app" is clearly trying to load the website itself into a browser in the app, and failing miserably at it. I am on a Pixel 3a, with all of the latest updates, and on a 50/50 symmetrical fiber connection. Problem isn't my end
I am so disappointed with the choice to change the entire look of the app. Now instead of quickly being able to see the year-to-date change in my 401k, I am forced to hunt this information down. To me the point of Net-benefits was to be able to see simplified verison of the desktop site. Now that it forces the desktop site to view details there is absolutely no point to use the app! If I could go back to the previous look I would in a second!!
Fix your functionality. If this is the only way customers have the ability to upload documents, then the solution must be functional. It currently does not work except if you take a picture of each page. Customer support gave me options of printing and faxing or printing and taking pictures. I do not want to have to print 72 legal sized pages to just scan them in. That's a waste of resources and time.
This was a very good app but for the last two weeks I cannot get on the app; I now get an "internal server error" message with no option to even sign in. It is now worthless. I tried reinstall but still get the same message. Fidelity needs to fix. Prior to this issue the app was very useful and easy to use, with access to everything I needed.
Horrible. Tried to use the app to upload my rollover check because my printer is broke down. First the app had a system error. Then when I went on it 3 hours later, it wouldn't pass the amount entry page to actually allow me to take pictures of the check. Now I have to go buy a new printer before planned so I can print the deposit slip and then spend more money sending the check in via the safest trackable methods. Way to help me save money for retirement!
App crashes every single time the camera snaps a pic of my check. Now I can't complete the rollover process. Each time I log in after the crash it's like it never captured the photo when it says it did right before the crash. I was pitched an awesome "easy" way to upload my check by a Fidelity rep without having to mail it. If you're going to tell people this, at least make sure it WORKS! Very upset with the app crashes. Reading other reviews regarding the same thing. Too bad it's not fixed!
Unable to Login. Unfortunately, the app simply goes back to the login screen after each (attempted) login. I am setup with two-factor authentication and successfully receive the text message with the login code. After entering the code, the app returns to the login page. The app is granted all permissions on my device as well. I am able to log into Netbenefits from my work and home PCs without issue.
