Won't even start the hotspot. My room is far away from the Wi-Fi and never gets connection, so I wanted to set up one phone halfway and use the other, and for my computer. But it when I click start hotspot it just unclicks. I tried to uninstall and and reinstall but it just wont work. I accepted all permissions. I just don't get what the problem is.

Works great. Create a text document with the command that has to be run, and save it with a .BAT extension to streamline connecting to the network. Edit: This connection has become too slow for me to work with for some unknown reason, and it keeps disconnecting, so Ive moved on to a different tether app.

I'm amazed that this app has been able to fix a problem that att has been trying and failing to deliver for me. I am trying to buy the full version now, it's worth every penny, but in order to do that I need to use the app for another 10 minutes to transfer some funds on my computer but I've reached my data limit. The irony is palpable. Highly recommend this app though... I'm gonna go look up "irony" & "palpable" in my paper dictionary to see how badly I just screwed up that last sentence 😅

Update: Giving another star after paying the $5, my speeds got much better. That being said, this app has saved my butt maaaaannny times even using the free version. Using my phone as a range extender has proven useful and has added value to my life. I spend a ton of time in my car, and I use a tiny PC to game on (it was $50 used and plays my games). Instead of buying a wifi card, I just use this and I don't have to eat up a USB port. Yes the PC has wifi, but it doesn't reach work from my car.

Works like a charm once you configure the proxy! AT&T blocks tethering but this app bypasses that. And once I allowed the app to run unrestricted in the background (power setting), I realized I could put my phone to sleep and that fixed my biggest grievance. Only using for web browsing and streaming, but when your WiFi goes out, this is the solution!

At first glance, the app appears very inelgant, but after I actually set it up, it worked 3x better than I thought it would. A tip for using the connect button: make sure that on the device the Hotspot is coming from has the "wps" button selected BEFORE selecting connect as it will take a lot less time for it to connect. You don't even need a Hotspot plan, but mind your cell data limit, as it is used if you don't have wifi.

I never review apps, but this one came in clutch. I ran out of hotspot on my phone and wanted a way to use hotspot without having to pay the phone company. I tried out the unpaid version and it worked, but with slow speeds and such, I tried the paid version and I was more than satisfied. The only problem I have now is that my programs sometimes don't recodnize the LAN connection but browser activity works fine. Netflix app no, but Netflix on browser works great. Am I doing something wrong?

Amazing product, easy to use and instantly gives a gigantic boost in performance. Internet was .5 down/.5 up because of how far I am from the router and modem. Used this and it shot up to 8 down/8 up, which might not seem like a lot, but I can FINALLY watch streams and load books without having to spend an agonizing hour trying to load the page with errors. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Bought this app for an upcoming cruise trip to share a single WiFi connection. Been playing with it for several days. No issue connecting any client to it. However some apps (all on iphones) cannot go through, for example, iOS Mail, WeChat, Alfred Camera, etc. Another issue is that it may not work on some (older?) phones. I tried it on a Moto G4 Play (2016), but the access point created is not visible. Also a client will not get the full speed. Hopefully the cruise line won't block it.

This app allows you to share internet to other Android devices via Wi-Fi Hotspot but you have to also have this app installed on the other Android devices. I wanted to allow my Roku or Amazon Fire devices to connect to it but I don't think that is possible. I wish this worked as easily as the description would have you believe. At least this version is free but comes with a low data limit.

Excellent app, and very easy to use. You can't play steam and other games on the Wi-Fi provides, because Microsoft doesn't recognize it as real internet. You can still access Chrome and open your email and watch YouTube videos and stuff. The speed on it is about 78 Mbps, which is fine, you can't really complain about something that bypasses the mobile data limit on your phone. Also the signal cuts out sometimes. Great app 10/10 It's not magic, it's SCIENCE!! 🧪

Works great, just like it describes. Don't need to have Hotspot on cell plan either! Only trouble I've found is that most of the time the connected device shows there's an issue with the wifi.... saying it's connected but no internet.... That's actually wrong though, it does have internet but for whatever reason it isn't detected. I just ignore it and open whatever app I need to and the internet connection works perfect. Fast as my normal connection as well. Thanks!

Works great. No fuss. Glad I paid for pro. I'm not sure why, but it never actually worked when I had the free version. To be honest I wasn't really thinking when I bought it since I had no reason to expect it actually did work. Also one of the first apps I have actually gone and paid for. The advantage of pushing a local WAP that is independent of the existing pre-installed service is huge for me right now since I don't have an ISP for my other devices to connect to internet.

Perfect. To connect to my Nintendo Switch I used the proxy. I was able to connect and game on! Although I only used it for the single player part of Animal Crossing. I haven't tested it for heavy online multiplayer use, but I'm assuming I would need to purchase the removal of the data limiter. Anyway, it works great! Setting up takes seconds! *4 stars because no extensive testing was performed. :P

Works beautifully. If you plan to tether a laptop or desktop PC with it, you will have to get into Windows Control Panel to manually update a couple of settings, but instructions for doing that are available in the app's help menu. Once everything was set up properly the app worked perfectly. A couple of random disconnects but those were easily fixed by restarting the app. Highly recommend.

Great app, with some limitations. I'm able to browse the web on my PC, watch videos through my steaming services, and download files. Online games do not work for me, at least none of the ones I use. It also is a bit slower. With that said it doesn't use any of my mobile network's hotspot data so I am pleased. My only experience so far has been on my PC so I cannot remark on other devices. Due to the savings I make on data I purchased the app and the speed improved dramatically.

Great!!! I just moved, need some time before I purchase a connection here and wanted to catch up on some shows on my PC since I set it up. I burned through my hotspot so fast but was wondering, is there a workaround and found this. Knowing I'm a data hog most times I went ahead and spent the money for pro because I have unlimited data. This is working fantastic. I'll be attempting the repeater option I read about and see if it works for my two TVs.

I don't exactly know how this app does what it does, and that's because I haven't had the need to. It does what it says, it works great. I've been enjoying a hotspot for severally months now whereas I didn't have that option without acquiring a larger monthly phone bill. Used the free version for about a week, then payed the 8 bucks for pro. That's a one time fee for unlimited internet hotspot for your computer/device. This is the first time rating and reviewing an app, or anything else for that matter, if that tells you anything.

I was a BIG time FoxFi user and when the Nougat update came out it blocked many phones from being able to use the wifi mode. This app has been a great replacement. It took a moment to figure out the setup as far as how to connect to my laptop and for some reason when I connect my iPad, I can browse the internet but online games won't play because they can't detect the connection. I also would love to be able to not have to use a different login every time I want to use the service.

App still works great, paid version keeps connection for as long as you want it to, also makes a more stable connection than just running on data. This is a must-have app for me. Depending on your phone, you can use it without interrupting the connection to another device, so you can be watching a video and browsing something at the same time. Last time I checked, this was the only one thst just does what it says it will do, and it is a free version or a one time payment, not a subscription.
