Reviews for Network Analyzer Pro

← Back to Network Analyzer Pro

I like the tool as a quick go-to to check on networks. To make it more of a Swiss-Knife networking tool, I'd like the developer to add in a Dynamic DNS client and (why not) a wake-on-lan client. Especially DDNS in Android would come in very handy, there's not much out there...

update: still liking this app. it gives you everything you need to be sure your network is working well. This app has everything you need to review your network operation. So very worth the sale price. I can delete at least 2 other apps now since this one tells me about everything on the net I am connected to including wifi, lan, router info and other nets around me. Great job!

Much better than the rest of the network apps I've tried. The loss of MAC address scanning was a bummer, but I know that was a Google decision, so my 5 star rating stands!

Works great for me. I use it for simple things. Mostly checking for best channel. edit late 2025 I now use more features of this app and I really like it still! it was very worth it

Excellent well worth the purchase upgrade to the pro version. update removing the mac address when doing a lan scan a big minus looses a star because of that change.

Excellent app but (and I don't know if this has been covered previously) when I run the Lan scanner for IP connections it reports less than a scanner run on a PC. The difference appears to be that it misses IP clients that are slow to respond. For example, today 82 connections reported by Network Analyzer but 91 found by a PC app. It would seem that anything above roughly 1700ms is missed.

After Fing began limiting scans and generally degrading in usability, i started casually searching for an alternative. after going through a few that worked not much better than fing and were riddled with ads, i decided paying for something i use so often was reasonable. I haven't been disappointed since switching.

All I can say is "wow", jaw dropping experience compared to the myriad I've tried, even ones you can upgrade to "pro". The UI is 👩🏽‍🍳😘 And the fact I can see my wifi channel without deciphering a tiny rainbow spaghetti graph full of hopping data? I haven't trawled through all this app has to offer but I'm sure not to be disappointed. PRO TIP: If you want apps you have to pay for that are on the Play Store but don't want to pay cash money, my tip is to download "Google Opinion Rewards"📋=💲

this is a very useful application. In my experience, having a good set of tools for network information is invaluable in the world of IOT. if ever you should find yourself in need of a reliable application for detailed network information, I give this my highest praise. it is simple and informative. It takes a lot of work to make something simple and understandable for users. I say, excellent job with this application. I appreciate the work done for any who use it.

Almost perfect for quick network analysis. Could use the option to scan in the background! (Lan & port scan) additionally, many vendors appear to be missing from the OUI database. Otherwise perfect!

Incredible local network Swiss knife, the perfect tool for solving problems. I first bought the iOs version a long time ago and it was one of my first app installed from the play store when I switched to Android. Extremely handy to check quickly what's connected to a router and on which IP adress. You can name the device for the next time you have to do a scan and so on. Highly recommended app for network engineers in complement to Network Signal Info Pro.

Network Analyzer is an essential tool for anyone who does network support, whether at work or home. It's the Swiss Army Knife of LAN and WLAN scanning and diagnostic apps, and I'm so pleased with it that I bought the Pro version to help fund its development -- twice! (I recently switched to a new Google account). It is worth every penny, which is not something you can say about many apps.

This is an excellent WiFi analyzer for Android devices. I'm running it on my S21 now (also ran it on all my previous Samsung Galaxys). Being able to visualize what other WiFi signals are around you and on what channels so you can select the correct channels for your own system. Also great being able to see all the devices connected to the network you are connected to.

In an older device, where the wireless features of the device are still a bit useful, I got a msg that my app is no longer licensed because a new version is out, which I can't get bc it's not compatible. Then why did I lose my license for? It wasn't enough that I had to remain signed in to Google in the off chance I might need the app so it'd still work. Just get the Hurricane Electric app. It's a bit uglier but it does more than this one and for free w/no data collected. This isn't worth it.

This is one of only apps that I've found that can show the MAC addresses of devices on your LAN, a very useful feature. Google has gone to great pains to make this impossible to do. I had written a nice app that did this, then Google broke it, and I haven't found any way to get MAC addresses. And I've tried many things. Yet, somehow, Network Analyzer can do it. Great job by the developer(s)! I wish they'd share their secret with me.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better example of excellent, well-written documentation, often incorporating original Android programmers documents. I don't know the programmer of this app, but when I read the explanation for the app's Android permission requests (which were few), two words came to mind: thoughtful, honest. I see little difference between the functionality of the free and pro versions. The free version serves my purposes but I bought the pro to support excellence.

just get the pro version, this is such a great app and it goes a long way with supporting the developer. is it a full-fledged suite of network tools? no! but it's like a mini toolbox for your phone. it does enough to let me get an idea of what's wrong with the Wi-Fi I'm connected to and I can generally fix most things from my phone and if not I have enough info to know what I need to do on my laptop. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing app! I use it at work all the time when I need network tools and don't have direct access to my laptop. Basically gives you the tools you'd have within a desktop or laptop machine right from your phone, such as ping, nslookup, pathping, lan scanning (which you'd need nmap for), speed test, wifi signal, and more! I couldn't recommend it enough. Totally worth the small amount of $ for the full version to support these awesome devs. Thank you for an awesome tool!!

This app has been so helpful when working on projects where APs are hidden in weird places. I have worked on a few networking upgrades where I didn't have access to switches to map the ports and find the APs using a toner, and many of the buildings had very tall drop ceilings so finding some of these hidden APs were difficult in a very large building. This app helped narrow down where APs were and how many. It has helped in a few other ways as well, but this was the biggest for me!

This is a great app, robust, with lots of important information describing the current network and other devices connected on the network. I did pay the modest fee to upgrade to the Pro version because, as a developer, I needed some of the extra features. Nevertheless the free version has lots of functionality. Unfortunately, recent Android versions do not allow reading other devices' MACs. This is an Android restriction - not the app's. It's possible to sideload an older version.
