Reviews for Nevermet - VR Dating Metaverse

Nothing like it used to be. App is filled with bugs. Can't even filter preference anymore.

At this point, I tried giving it a chance, but it's just awfully terrible. The exclude "only here for friends" just straight up includes it, which I find bs, there should be an filter for people with similar interests, and also add more games to the list, I don't just play vrchat all the time I'm mostly a nintendo person or whatever other games and with that having no option just sucks. I've had one person who just blocks me a few moments after we hang. -1/10

Notifications do not work for any messages. Only ever met with one person on VRchat, eveyone else just ghosts me, or appears to be a bot fishing for personal information. Filter to exclude people who want just friends only shows me people who want just friends, so can't search for anyone looking for a relationship as all I see is people looking for just friends. Would not recommend if your looking to meet people for more than just friends. So true to its name, you Never meet anyone.

this app is full of fake profile bots. you'll notice profiles have the same exact pics. when you add them on discord and suggest a video chat the bot will either have some excuse or avoid it all together. i wish i had never heard of this app.

You will likely get some matches. Not many keep up a conversation, so far though. Worst part is the app crashes often when typing messages, and also logs you out constantly. Edit: the logging out stopped for a little while after this review, but now we're back to texting a verification number practically every time I open the app. Very irritating.

Paywalled just to match so little chance of matching and it says dating in the title itself but 90% of it is only people looking for hookups and friends.

notifications have never worked across multiple devices for over a year. And I know it's not just me because you can encounter many profiles saying it's broken for them too. it ruins the ability to keep up with DMs effectively.

I wish the prices were more affordable. I don't have US tier disposable income. Also word limit is a bit too restrictive. And my geolocation isn't being recognized nor can I manually enter it (Batumi)

it only filters for gender, age, platform and some games you play. no filter for sexuality, location, mono or non mono. there is no way to stop it from showing friends only accounts. the restriction on info you can have on display restricts bdsm info so if that's important to you tough luck. that restriction is also not a filter and relies on user report as does slurs and sex work ads. overall as a "dating app" its not great there are better apps that have the same goal.

still no tenor/giphy gif support and most importantly mobile notifications are nonexistent despite settings enabled, makes it really hard to use it often if I dont even know when im getting engagement outside of constantly opening the app. edit: oct 6th still no notifications fix cmon guys.

this app has a unique place on my phone for sure. its the only app that breaks consistently. the support team, as sweet and nice as they may be, is slow and the app seems to never get updates to fix the issues it has. $20 for premium as well so you would think it would be working properly. the other massive issue is just the people but that isn't the apps fault.

I am absolutely grateful for this app. I finally found a partner that matches my needs and wants. I love the ID system, which garuntees you won't be talking to bots. I love the fact that the women I swipe on are pretty serious about their bios and tell you specifically what they are looking for, and they aren't playing mind games with me, unlike other dating apps. Truly, it's a bastion of hope for dating for nerds. You other dating apps out there should take notes. 🫡

I want to say a few things that should get changed. 1: App customization or a temporary undo button. 2: The "Like You" tab should not be behind a paywall App customization or a temporary undo button for instances where you accidentally click X on a profile. I've accidentally pressed X on profiles because I swipe with my left hand and didn't mean to. Being able to see who liked you should be a basic feature provided to all users and not behind a paywall.

It's good for what it is currently, however here are some things I wish it had. 1. A way to know who has already like (matched) your profile. I can read a person's bio and then when I like them it tell you that you both matched each other but there wasn't a way for me to know this person had already matched with me. 2. Better notifications for Replies etc. Sometimes the Notifications are a little off or nonexistent. That's all. Other than that it's a better good and simple app.

Nevermet is decent. It does what it's meant to; find friends and lovers that you can get to know through your VR. But it needs some QOL updates. It can give you a preference to look for trusted users( those who upload their IDs ), but it doesn't give you an option to look for specific games or sexualities. The amount of poly people on here is great because of the representation, but I don't want that. I want something mono. Also I hate VRChat, I want an option to find specific game matches.

Sometimes the app is a bit janky. When liking a profile, it might take a bit to load the next one. It also seems like you don't get quite as many free swipes as most other similar apps. That being said, it does what it's suppose to do. It's much easier to get plenty of matches on here as opposed to many other dating apps, due to it mostly being about finding others to hang with in vr, as opposed to people caring about anything physical.

The app is great for the most part although I have a couple of problems with it. The biggest issue is that notifications do not work at all. That's a huge deal for a dating app. Second, there IS a feature to filter out people from outside your country but it would be nice to have a way of finding people based on proximity. Finding someone close enough to meet irl without needing to plan a whole vacation would be awesome.

I like this app, it's been a great way to meet new people. Notifications are a little spotty sometimes but other than that, no complaints. I do think there should be an updated preference filter though, I think that personality traits should play a bigger role when it comes to who comes across your suggestions. It would be nice if the people you want to find are the ones that you come across rather than random choices that you aren't looking for or interested in.

There's an option to "prefer to exclude looking for friends" and it is checked. Regardless, every single person I see is either looking for friends or are already taken. On a dating app. Where people go to match with others looking for relationships supposedly. Unless you're willing to pay a subscription that costs more than Netflix, I can't recommend it.

The concept is cool. I like the idea. However, the app is poorly made. -If you're typing a message, your draft will be deleted if you leave the chat page. -I stopped getting any notifications after only a few hours of having the app. -Even in-app, I don't get notifications for new messages. I have to open all my chats to force the app to recieve new messages. -Likes only last 24 hours. If you buy premium, they show you the newest matches first, letting the old ones expire before you see them.
