Great App but there has to be a way to Turn Off notifications. right? Too many are coming through and too frequently! Otherwise I love the app!

The app ad said download app 100 percent for free I did and got bombarded with several money request to use the app you need money to continue using. Strongly urge everyone not to download this app it's a scammers playground app.

I love it but you really have to get rid of the old news no need to keep it around keep updating new news we want new not the old but it's a good app

I love news, break. It brings news that happens immediately. Last quick in a hurry, and it's on point of what's going on.

I used to like this app my whole family used to use it but now we just gives too many notifications I would not install if you don't like notifications this is a broadcast app just don't use it if you don't like too many notifications at once cuz once you wake up you will have a lot of notifications

preferred this Lite version over the original. Enjoyable, relatable, and somewhat local content is the plus however the minus would be the insane amount of ads and constant notifications. Both of which could def be toned down like 90%

APP IS FULL OF SCAM ADS! APP DEFIES 'NO NOTIFICATION' IN SETTINGS!

I used to have the app but now it won't even update or install and I checked my storage my Internet etc. and still nothing works

Well, I had the original app but it took up too much storage on phone, installed the lite version, and it also takes up too much storage, any reason why this is happening..

LOVE this app my go to for daily reading, or just because reading! you can search for certain news articles by keywords, in certain areas too! it covers anything and everything that's happening now or even from the past! 5 out of 5 stars! I've been using the Newsbreak App for years! you can comment, share stories, follow certain writers or columns. you can like or dislike articles to see more of or less content! It's never a dull read. Enjoy! 😊

Great News Break Lite app for getting local news and weather alerts.

No dark mode independent of your phone's global mode. Annoying "clips" section cannot be disabled.

Very disappointing. garbage. I thought it would be a true to the news outlet. Your news is just linked to the real pages that charge for news. Turns out the customer submitted material is just no different than the other social media platforms. There's no reason to use this newsbreak app other than unnecessary media on my phone.

Mostly sensationalized half-articles and nothing-burgers to bait you into a sea of ads only to need to click into another site to see anything relevant. I could tolerate it, because I could at least Google the headlines I saw later. Recently they added notifications for "Reactions" with no way to turn them off. So In addition to the first issues, now I've got spam comments from random users popping up as "news". I've never interacted with their commenting system in any way.
