Been using NewsNation for a couple months now. It’s basically a news app that covers stories from local communities across the country. Pretty solid if you’re into staying up-to-date on current events without all the partisan nonsense.
Here’s what you can do – there’s live streams of their news shows like Morning in America and NewsNation Prime. And you can watch on-demand videos of breaking news stories. It’s got a pretty good selection of content, covers a decent range of topics.
Look, if you’re looking for an alternative to the big cable news networks, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – can be a bit dry at times – but overall it does the job of giving you the facts without all the opinion and spin. Worth checking out if that’s what you’re after.

So here's my take on NewsNation. I've tested a bunch of news apps and this one's a pretty solid option if you want unbiased, fact-based reporting. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other apps, but it gets the job done. I like that they pull stories from local newsrooms across the country - gives you a good sense of what's happening in communities beyond just the major national stories. On the downside, the app can be a little dry and the UI is nothing to write home about. But if you're just looking for a reliable source of news without the partisan nonsense, I'd say NewsNation is worth a download.
