I had an account with credit that I paid for, they removed number as I did not use it. it will not issue a new number. contacted support, their instructions dont work. Tried two phones and multiple networks. Support stops engaging, forcing you to make a new ticket. This app appears to be a scam now. it won't assign a number. it keeps loading ads full screen with no navigation aside from clicking the ad. they reply with same non working fix and won't help actually fix it. AVOID!!!!

It works when I need it. So long as I'm near wifi. Have yet to worry about needing credits. I did two of the tasks to aquire credits and aside from paying to keep my number I have yet to run out of the 60.00 dollars I earned from those two tasks. Been paying and using it of and on for a year I think... Maybe longer but I'm not super sure. Either way it's not the greatest app ever but it's a solid working app when I require it. I can't complain about that.

Terrible app. Worked okay for a bit, however recently lost phone number and not able to claim a new one so the app is effectively useless. Customer support is nonexistent. i have sent two emails to the customer service email and havent recieved anything back aside from an automatic message stating they've recieved my email. This was weeks ago. Find something else, there are better options.

This app is unique because it allows for making payments with a gift card and Pay Garden! That is how I have earned most of my credit in $USD. I have never had a credit card and I am not interested in ever having one. A credit card is too involved for me, unless it is a gift card or prepaid Visa, or something similar that can be used like a credit card.

It's been about a week that outbound messages aren't working with Verizon service. No updates or end in sight. considering downloading another app. Even before this, had trouble with some messages not being sent. I would check with the person on the other end and nothing would appear. not even an error message. Multiple problems. used to be a good app but not sure of that now.

Used this app for years, even used TextPlus for the longest time before the name changed. Now the app is breaking and getting worse by the day. Messages and contacts won't load, and half the time messages don't send at all. Few years back, I'd recommend this 110%. Now? Don't even waste your time downloading this. July 18th Update: they've now placed pop up ad boxes that can show up at any time, anywhere while on the app.....just...why?

I signed up for an account, watched a few ads, then paid for ad-free service. The next day, when I tried do login, it said the account was suspended. Then, after going to the help page, I tried again, and it said it didn't recognize my login information (and I know it's correct because I screenshoted the information when I signed up).

Constantly drops incoming calls or just doesn't let them through. Sometimes sends my texts.. sometimes. Can't picture message anymore, where that wasn't a problem before. Super laggy. Just pure trash at times. Edit: Does not notify me at all when someone calls or texts. I have to regularly check into the app just to see if someone called or text. Won't save contact names. Update: Emailed. Still missing calls. If I didn't need the phone number at the moment, I'd delete this and try another app.

Can't be used for number verification. Hope I helped save you time not having to download app. Editing this to respond to the dev: Nearly every single Third party nowadays does not recognize VOIP phone numbers as numbers that can be used for verification. That's going to be all your main ones you'd need it for: Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, etc. I was just here to inform others that they can't use VOIP phone services, like this one, for verification means.

I downloaded the app got my phone number and for very important reasons gave that phone number to one person to be able to contact me through...lol... all of a sudden the app starts telling me that I changed my email address and right before it started telling me that I spent 699 in paying for a phone call to be able to even come through that was now 26 days ago and I've heard nothing from them up text them every single day in the beginning several times... I'm going through Google app to get my refund there's plenty of apps out there that you don't have to pay a dime for to get calls in or out!!!

First, there are the intrusive ads, always popping up quick enough that you click them by 'accident'. But most importantly, the calling feature of this app stopped working and never resumed. I used this app for years to make calls over wifi when I was unable to make calls with my spotty data service, but now the calling functionality of this app does not work at all. It endlessly says 'dialing', and never actually makes a call. If I hadn't used this app for so long, it would get 1 star.

When I first installed this app back in 2017, I quickly got into a small debt of money owed because I was seeing how it worked. I decided to stick with it and I learned that this is the only app in existence that can allow the exchange of a gift card for USD. It is very difficult to pay for things online without a credit card. A person like me without a credit card can't even donate to Internet Archive or Wikipedia unless I can get a MC, Vanilla Visa, American Express, or Discover gift card.

I used this app for approx. 1 year completely free (w/adds), mainly for texts & it saved me a bundle over paying for text w/Tracfone. At that point I decided that they have earned their keep so now I pay them a few bucks to have the ads removed. I've always had the 1 same number that they initially gave me (now over 2 years ago). Admittedly I don't use this for voice phone calls very much but occasionally somebody calls me on their number and I've had no trouble at all. I recommend this.

I like the fact that you can receive verification codes from most any source, i do not have ever lacked the fact that it's glitchy if I make a phone call ma. Keyboard disappears. And I'm unable to end my calls, because I can't get the screen to pop-up. Um I don't get notifications even though I have. My notifications turned on on my phone and on the app for text messages and calls. It's really grainy and static key Whenever I try to call place calls but it gets the job done I guess so, thank you

Still no notifications for group chats. Half of group chat messages are never received. Large empty spaces in conversations. If you ever get logged out, good luck logging back in even if your login information is correct. Pictures aren't currently visible. App is getting worse as more and more features are added and the basic functions no longer work well.

Love everything about this app. fabulous sound quality with WiFi calling. I'm confident nextplusGo is just as amazing but it's not available at my location yet :( only downfall is, the way you have to contact customer service, it's threw email. I wish there was a # to call an talk to someone. Updated review in 2021: still love the app. I can't send a message out if there isn't an ad to watch/view. That's annoying.

have been paying for ad-free for years how and just got a reminder that I will De charged again for another year in a couple of days. But have been getting ads, and have communicated many times, but nothing. I wish to get this issue fixed. I have also had many texts never go out in the same time frame the ads have been coming. Please help. After I wrote this review, they took my number away, i had for year's and want back. I also pay to keep my number; get this fix

This app was better until this last year. Now there are video ads that pop up randomly on top of the ads that are already a banner on the bottom of the screen. Incoming calls are either delayed or don't display at all, and you only receive a missed call notification. Text messages are fairly reliable though. You can pick your own phone number, including area code. Has Customization options too For a free app, it's not terrible, but don't expect it to be as seamless as your regular phone number.

The google verification thing "I'm not a robot" when trying to get a number makes it impossible to get a number. It's glitchy as hell. Service is now total trash. Uninstalled! Update: You guys don't listen. That's why your app is becoming useless. The google robot verification thing is buggy. You can't complete the puzzle, and most times, you can't click on it.

I used to really love your app, but now it's like I had to trade your service for a higher end phone. It will not let me get a number, & I followed all of the suggestions on your support site. If you fix it I'll gladly raise the star count... edit, 4/29/2025... it does give me a 2nd phone number if I sign up using mobile data, but will not work at all on WiFi!
