This app sucks it only works when it wants to it tells you have to many logins and then it will not accept your email address and password word I would not recommend getting this app.
Reviews for NHRA.TV
← Back to NHRA.TVI would give no stars if possible. Despite the name, this service cannot be used on a smart tv . It is only good for computers and cell phones. They don't tell you this when you subscribe and they have a strict no refund policy. Buyer beware!
I have a valid account, paid for, etc. The app will not recognize my email or password. Tried reinstalling and it's still not working.
We are at the Gatornationals in Gainesville Fl for this race weekend. When not in the stands we are in the parking lot watching the races on a Roku TV in the back of the truck. On Thursday it was awesome! Loved the crisp picture. Starting Friday it started the buffering. It is worse till now when it will attempt to load for a few minutes before it actually starts and the picture quality has degraded all weekend from an awesome picture on the phone or TV to I am fixing to turn it off.
love drag racing this is the best format available
Half the time I can sign in even thought I have an annual subscription...customer service SUCKS!! You can't even contact them because the damn apps never works on my phone!! If I could give NO STARS I WOULD...THIS APP IS WORTHLESS!!!
got drag racing in my blood but I certainly won't spend 159 dollars on a one year subscription to watch them dry a track
This has worked all last year without any issues. Today I try and use the app and it will not work. I am able to log into nhratv on my laptop and everything works but in the app I get an error about invalid credentials on my cell phone
This thing keeps on cutting in and out I have to go and keep resetting it just to make it work for $150 you think it would work also it doesn't on my telephone and it doesn't on my internet I would like to know how we go about getting our money refunded because this is a terrible app thought you had something special but you don't
Spent a lot of money to watch dragsters on demand and on race weekends. The live stream CONSTANTLY buffers and restarts. Lost this customer a month into the subscription, but sadly they don't prorate refunds, you're stuck with a crappy app. I will NOT be resubscribing.
Subscription auto renews. No obvious way to cancel. When I try to cancel, app just says "subscription not found". One of my friends also wasn't able to cancel through NHRA, Google Play Store, or his credit card. Each one just sent him to the other.
Works great when it works. But when it doesn't it's terrible. Another user reported the same experience I'm having with the subscription thru Google Play. Both sides blame the other which still leaves me with the app nor website seeing that I have paid for a subscription. Nhra.tv support takes forever to respond(weeks). I hate to give up on this as I do like watching the events but this is ridiculous.
They need to add a clock to the videos, and maybe a support tab
First year was great. Second year at discounted rate they said they never received payment from Google Play thus never activating my account. Sent several requests to activate to no avail. They would recommend me back to Google Pay. Google Pay would say no we sent the money to them. Talk to them. Very Very disappointed that I didn't get anything the second year that the money was deducted from my account but NHRA wouldn't activate my account.
when I go to use the app it requires me to login after I've done so the last time I used it. I'll not be renewing for the next season.
One of the attractions of NHRA drag racing is the sound of the engines. The low volume and the announcer talking through an entire process, burn out to launch, makes it impossible to enjoy this very important part of the sport. I've read in blogs that this is an ongoing problem and nothing is done about it. I immediately canceled my subscription, but wasn't given a refund. I won't renew.
Way better than fox, and my go to way to watch NHRA National Events. Makes me feel like I'm actually at the track. Love it.
I have the app on my Galaxy S7 and it works fine. Also have the app on two Roku devices and have had no issues. NHRA TV is a paid subscription service. The video streams really well. The only complaint I have is if you are rewinding or fast forwarding to find a specific part of the video, there is no visible stream to see where you are. So it is just a hit or miss situation. Nov. 16, 2019 This is an update to my earlier review. The app is crashing on my Roku devices. Others are having similar issues. Having to watch the Pomona race on my PC.
Why does this app log me out every time I turn off the tv? Not only do I NOT get to pick up where I left off, but I have to log back in every day. It's not like this is a bank with sensitive or personal information. Even amazon prime tv keeps me logged in. What up? Every time I have to slog through hours of nothingness to get to a race, then get 'timed out, and have to get back in I think I'll cancel. On the other hand, the local Spectrum/Charter has moved coverage of NHRA to their most expensive cable package which is 10 times the cost of this app.
I have this on both my Android & Roku devices. Besides the complaint about volume, I also have one about the fast forward on Roku. It would be nice to have three things. A video preview of where you are at as previously mentioned, not having to hold down the ff button, and a choice of at least 2 ff speeds. These are all features that most TV streaming device apps have.
