Reviews for Nice G.O.

← Back to Nice G.O.

downloaded app and signed in. message indicated I'm supposed to get email verification. never received and have installed un-installed many times. unable to open my mighty mule gate using this app. very inconvenient...updating 8.12..I called tech support week ago..said they were reaching out to IT..checked email already..also..seems to be a known issue with this release based on other comments...update. I'm receiving emails letting me know you updated your comments. you have the right email addr

UPDATE: After numerous attempts to pair the app to MMS100, many calls back and forth with tech support and several hardware changes, I was finally able to pair. Now we'll see if our guest users have issues. I just wish that the app was able to stop the gate midway so it doesn't automatically close (like the Ghost Control party mode).

it works better than the old app, I still like the look of the old app especially how you get to incorporate your own photo of your own gate. I feel like this app needs a better picture of the gate closing and opening. A simple touch like that would go far I believe.

FINALLY an app thay works! This app is great! The old app wouldn't connect half of the time and was clunky. This app is much more streamlined and easy to use. Although it could use some more features, like being able to control the light, vacation mode, and being able to use Alexa/Google assistant. I understand it's a early version but PLEASE keep updating it.

This was the alternative to Might Mule's app. It is definitely a step backwards. It is not as nice looking or useable. The transfer was not smooth. It didn't know me. I had to create an account from scratch, and re-connect the controller to my Wi-Fi all over again. The light state is neither visible or controllable from the device screen. It is a slider on a second page, and it looks more like a configuration setting than an operational control. So far, I'm unimpressed.

What good is having a co-owner if they are treated the same as a guest? Co-owner should be able to invite guests, too. And, if you are the owner, you should be able to easily change your password. The others have their own password. That is why I gave it a 3. App itself works well. "Nice" to have it.

So far seems a bit more reliable than the original Mighty Mule app, however I had to install an online receptacle to reboot the xmitter for Mighty Mule because the Nice G.O. loses connection quite often. By cycling xmitter off/on it will reestablish connection. The notifications of activity can come hours later in some instances. Like most things in the Cyber World nothing seems to be 100%.

Very smooth transition....love the new app they only thing they need to work on is someway to remotely open our Mighty Mule gate and keep it open without having to physically power it down. I do find it handy that I can use the gate opener while we're in Mexico and it opens and closes our gate back here in Tennessee.

App says disconnected about every two days. I have to reset the bridge to reconnect it which is very irritating. I tried changing the power seting with which makes no difference. My brige is located 50 feet plus from the gate box so normally have it set to high. I had no issues with the old app.

The WiFi link device shows 'geeen' status but app loses connection to the gate. Power cycling the wifi link restores the connection. So it is not a problem outside of the app/wifi link. Tried different power level settings low, medium and high and that did not make a difference. Very disappointing product.

Tried to a very long time to get our Linear garage door set up with this app. I got it paired, but it was never able to get through the firmware updatr after. I tried unpairing and re-pairing, but that was a mistake because I was never able to re-pair the device. Why are all garage door apps so terrible?

EDIT: Although original complaint has been addressed, we're now discovering this app does not work if the internet to the house is down, forcing us to turn it all off and go completely manual. The app keeps deleting my device requiring me to re-pair and then re-add my users. This has happened 3 times in 2 weeks. Very poor performance, leaving me stuck inside or outside my gate. Very unhappy customer.

Was led to believe that the mighty mule app would allow scheduling. This app replaced the old app and does not allow for any scheduling. I have to manually close every evening as I leave open during day for various deliveries and guests. And I'm not going to use auto close and have to worry about guest codes at this time. Way too big a hassle as this requires opening the box every time I want to change or delete code. (This too is an issue but not app related) any timeframe for scheduling?

most of these reviews are fake, this app doesn't work 98% of the time its always stuck saying "gate closing" or "gate opening" and never opens the gate. you can tell how little effort was put into this app by the name of the app alone.

After multiple tries, it won't connect with my garage door opener. The old app you forced me to stop using worked great. Update Aug 2025: Nice G.O. deleted my account randomly. No idea why, it was working fine a couple days ago.

this app when still in beta stages was great I've sold 50 too customers as well as installed at my own house. the app hasn't worked for at least 3 months. I've even had customers at least 12 with the exact same issue. don't know if the wifi box is going bad or what I don't wanna keep purchasing boxes for this too continue too happen. buyers beware when they work they are fantastic but when they don't nothing you can do too fix it.

I thought this app would be great as it seemed easy enough to setup and share but learned today a limit has been set on users for a gate which now makes it useless as the gate is used by over 50 people. I fail to understand the need for limited users to control a device and hope they will increase the limit so we can have up to 50 or better yet 100.

can no longer close garage door via app. It says the sensors are blocked. however this is wrong , I can close it with the remote or with the wall switch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. this is a particularly obnoxious bug because if you happen to open the garage door remotely for someone via the app, you are now unable to close it. I noticed someone else has reported this exact same issue

Mighty Mule-adding users is buggy, 3 of my 9 users were unable to get their valid verification codes accepted. Their email address are in limbo, as all attempts to re-send their invitations error out. Support was unable to resolve the issue, blaming it on a supposed 10-user limit on "residential" gates. I need at least 20. I haven’t been able to find any mention of a user limit anywhere, so either the support tech and his supervisor are mistaken or there really is such a ridiculously low limit.

The app won't close the door, thinking the safety beam sensors are blocked, but the wall button works fine. The sensors are working, verified by the lights turning on and off when blocked as appropriate. The app also shows the state of the door and light correctly, and I can control the light - so comms are working. Also, it randomly opened the door itself while I was away, and documented it in the activity log. UNSAFE
