Been using Night Owl Protect for a couple months now. It’s basically a home security app that lets you monitor your place from your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do – you can set up cameras around your house and the app will alert you if it detects movement or faces. There’s also a way to view live footage, which is pretty cool. And you can use the audio features like two-way talk and siren if you have compatible cameras – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into home security apps, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit tricky and the notifications can be annoying sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Night Owl Protect. I've tested a bunch of home security apps and this one's pretty good overall. The setup is a little tedious but once it's up and running, the app works well. And the live video feed is really handy and I like the smart alerts - doesn't bombard you with notifications. Not the most advanced system out there but it gets the basics right. If you want a simple way to keep an eye on your place, this is worth a look.
