Been using the NIU app for a couple months now. It’s basically a vehicle management app that lets you track your battery, location, service history, and more. Pretty solid if you’re into electric scooters and mopeds.

Here’s what you can do – you can check your current battery level and estimated range, see where your vehicle is on a map, and even get alerts if someone messes with it. There’s also an option to book service appointments right in the app, which is pretty convenient. And you can manage all your personal info and settings from the ‘Me’ section.

Look, if you ride a NIU electric vehicle, this app is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Personally, I find it helpful to have all my vehicle info in one place.

So here's my honest take on the NIU app. I've tested a bunch of vehicle management apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The core features work well - I like being able to quickly check my battery level and see where my scooter is. The service booking is handy too. But I do find the layout a little cluttered and not super intuitive, especially for less tech-savvy users. And the performance can be a bit sluggish at times. Compared to some other apps in this category, I'd say NIU is a good option if you own one of their vehicles, but not necessarily a must-have if you use a different brand.

Great app with a sh***y bug in it. It's showing my battery at zero percent half the time. And I keep getting the battery communication error. How are we supposed...

I really really wish the app stopped changing my dynamic mode limits. Yes I unlocked it to 30+, but that doesn't mean I want 38kmph.

Could use better Improvement for integrations with Google maps for directions. The niu app does not properly log trips accurately... AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD... DISABLE THE TUTORIAL FOR...
