Been using the NOAA Buoy Reports & Data app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you real-time data and information from weather buoys all around the US and even globally. Pretty solid if you’re into weather, sailing, or just generally nerding out on ocean data.

Here’s what you can do: You can quickly find current conditions at specific buoy locations using the intuitive map interface. There’s also interactive graphs to check out historical buoy data. It’s got data for over 1000 buoys and 200 ships worldwide, so you’re covered for the Atlantic, Pacific, Great Lakes, Caribbean, and even Ireland and the UK.

Look, if you’re into weather or just like geeking out on ocean data, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job of giving you all the buoy info you need without a bunch of clutter. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my take on NOAA Buoy Reports & Data. I've tried a bunch of weather apps and this one's pretty solid if you want a no-nonsense way to get buoy data. The map and graphs make it easy to find and analyze the info you need. The coverage is really impressive too, with buoys all over the world. The only real downside is the UI can be a bit clunky in spots, but it's nothing too crazy. Overall, if you're into this kind of thing, it's a great free app to have in your arsenal.
