Reviews for Nomorobo Basic Robocall Block

Worst excuse for a Spam blocker I have ever seen. They make it seem like they have advanced technology to filter out unwanted calls -and they may - but it certainly doesn't do anything more than the "block" feature on most phones. I got the free. Paid for the subscription.Spam calls went from 12-15 a day, to 10-12, and thats only AFTER I manually entered numbers as spam myself. Don't buy into the hype. And advertisement is just that - reviews are from real users

I have no idea what happened, but this app has turned into a useless hunk of code. My phone service catches spam constantly, all of which slips right past Nomorobo. I'm tired of reporting numbers to the app, which never seems to update the database. It used to be pretty good at its job. Now...it just logs calls.

Like other reviewers have noted, the app worked great for the first few months. Just long enough to lure you into the paid subscription.it has quit working on my phone and doesn't catch any robocalls, even when the app identifies them as robocalls.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, giving it permissions to absolutely everything on my phone, and still no dice.cancelled my subscription, and when the subscription is up I will uninstall the app.

The app works well in theory. I had technical issues where using this app as the primary phone app (which is required for the app to work fully) caused my not not be notified and miss calls from my contacts. Now, you can white list numbers, and these contacts were all whitelisted. Yet the calls still went immediately to voicemail with no notification to me, other than them texting me and telling me they called.

Works for the home phone, not the mobile. I'm still getting pestered about my non-existent auto warranty. I need my phone for work. Thankfully, I took a month-to-month plan, and figured it out after the first payment. The other downside is there is no money back if the app doesn't work. It's funny how the free version works and the pay version doesn't.

This used to work but not anymore. It recently updated and I had to re-register my phone number in the app and set up the few options it has. Easy enough. I have it set to send unknown numbers to voicemail. After that I now get more calls than before and none of them go to voicemail. I've received 11 calls in the last 5 hours and only 1 of them was legit. Time to stop paying for this one...

Very disappointing after a great start. Worked wonderful when I first downloaded the app, catching many scam calls. Inthe last few months my T-Mobile phone advises me of more scammers than the app. Plus, it is impossible to get in touch with anyone at Nomorobo. I gave filled out forms on their web site as well as sending emails to their support desk for 3 weeks with not even one reply.

Worked great at first. Blocked all spam/fraud/spoofed calls wonderfully. Decided to subscribe. Worked great for a month or two, and now it doesn't stop a single call. Being bombarded just as bad as before the app if not worse, and it doesn't catch a single one. Had to cancel. Wish it was as good as it once was.

Used to be excellent; now it's almost a waste of money. Either the robocallers got a whole new set of phone numbers that are in none of your databases, or you guys are slipping BIG TIME!!! What's the point of paying $2/month if half the calls still get through?!? According to your app 59% of my calls are robocalls, and you're letting WAAAAAY too many slip through. It's gotten so bad, that I'm even thinking about trying a different app instead!

worked for the first week I had it, now I average at least 3 robocalls a day... they are easy enough to spot, given the area code of my phone number is different from the area code for nearly everyone who calls me. regularly getting robocalls that aren't detected and I have to manually hit block, but it never seems to learn. Also when it does catch one (once in a blue moon) it just goes to voice mail and they can still keep calling and leaving messages. Not worth the $19 subscription fee.
