Description
Been playing Nomorobo Max for a couple months now. It’s basically a call screening app that blocks spam and scam calls. Pretty solid if you’re sick of getting bothered by annoying telemarketers and robocalls.
Here’s what you do: When an unknown number calls, Nomorobo will ask them to state their name and purpose. You can then choose to accept, reject, or send it to voicemail. It also cross-checks the number against a big database of known scam callers. There’s also SMS screening which is pretty useful. Took me a while to figure some of the settings out, but once it’s set up it works really well.
Look, if you get a ton of spam calls, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the caller screening can be a bit hit or miss sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Nomorobo Max. I've tried a bunch of call screening and spam blocking apps, and this one's pretty solid. It's got a ton of useful features like the automatic caller ID and the ability to block entire categories of numbers. In my experience, it's been effective at cutting down the annoying robocalls and telemarketers. The only downside is that the caller screening isn't 100% accurate, but it's still way better than just letting every unknown number through. I'd say it's one of the better spam-fighting apps out there.
